[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old gas Toro snow blower finally bit the bust and since I already have other Worx products (and my wife never liked the smell of the old two cycle gas one) I thought I would give this a shot. It arrived just before we received over 20" of snow in three days and did awesome! I have a three stall driveway and average length sidewalk and it had just enough juice to do it all and since I have other Worx products, the PowerShare makes it easy to always have batteries charged and ready to go for the next round.

The unit turns off intermit when using it. I found that the safety button (on the right of the handle). Becomes disengaged. Holding the start bar close to the switch is how to keep it engaged. I have not tried to open the assembly to adjust the pressure switch and verify the solution. The pre assemble turn chute control does not stay in place. to use the chute you must turn it manually. there is no easy access to resolve this issue. During the last 3 storms it was great and I could complete 4 car driveway and 4 house walkways before running out of power. Hangs on the wall when not un use. Battery charges quickly. My neighbor were impressed with the power. Battery also fits my other worx tools

But the batteries are very hard to get back out because the cover will not open far enough to get a hold on the batteries ,they need a small handle on them because there is no place to grip on to them.

Right out of the box, fresh batteries, and this thing bogs down and quits working the second it touches 4 inch of the driest snow I've ever seen. Forget about anything even mildly wet. How this thing has average reviews 4+ boggles the mind. I'd rather clean my driveway with a wet mop than try to use this absolute piece of landfill fodder again.

To be honest, I was skeptical even as I read the good reviews before purchasing this little snow blower, but I figured it had to be capable enough to at least clear a 15 foot ramp and part of a 10 x 10 deck for my dogs to be able to get out and do their business. It more than accomplished that on the two included batteries! I also was able to clear a short walkway and about 20 x 10 foot or more area behind 3 cars too. This first use was a dry, but packed snow and it threw it at least 15 feet. After the batteries were exhausted, I was able to continue additional clearing using the many smaller batteries from several other Worx products I currently own. I would recommend this highly to anyone for quick, easy cleanup of decks and walkways. I would caution users to not let the snow get too deep, particularly if it's wet, before getting out there and having fun getting the job done without the hassle of lifting or dealing with gas and oil and cold starting issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been waiting to get a snow blower until it could be battery powered! BINGO! Only got to use it once, but it did everything that I wanted. It is light enough to put up into the attic until I need it again. No gasoline engine to worry about running after sitting for while. I was going to add a video, but I had taken my shirt off to mess with my family in Florida.

I somehow didn't even know that a battery powered snow thrower was part if the line or even existed until recently. I didn't worry about it because a neighbor had been doing snow removal for me because he seemed to enjoy it. That recently stopped so I decided to see if WORX had such a device. I was pleasantly surprised to see it and purchased it right away. Although I've been happy with all my WORX tools, I was skeptical about the ability of a battery powered device to work well on the heavy Mid-Western snow we get here. I got it just as we had record breaking snowfalls so I knew it would be a great time to try it. I was absolutely shocked at how well this thing works, even in snow as deep as the thrower is tall! I even had to use it days later to help get aneighbor's van out of being stuck in snow mound. It is worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here in New York, we have had several snowfalls so far. Some were heavy and slushy and some were cold and fluffy. It helped me clear the two car wide driveway including the big mounds left by the plow trucks, the long sidewalk, and large street corner pedestrian accessway. At first, I was disappointed that the throw was only about two feet when we had the heavy wet snow but then I saw the heavy two-stage snowblower used by our snow removal service throw the same distance with this snow so I finally accepted how hard this machine was actually working. The snowblower shut down frequently due to overloading and ice but it did finish the job very well going down to the pavement. With the cold fluffy snow, the throw was excellent and matched Worx's specifications. It was hard to use the crank to change the throw direction so I ended up using the handle on the discharge chute instead. I would recommend getting another set of batteries for large jobs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time we’ve ever owned a snowblower. It needed to be powerful enough for WI snow but easy for my wife to use. We’ve had one heavy snow and it worked great... just remember to make sure all the snow is cleaned out at the end or you will have a frozen mess when you go to use it the next time.
