Light bleed from seam between bezel and screen

Shortley after turning the TV on we noticed there is an obvious defect with the seam between the actual tv screen and the bezel of the TV. I'm guessing the material used to bridge the area was not assembled correctly and as a resut there is noticable light bleed out of the tv. Viewing it from an angle, you can see the method used isn't sufficent. Attempting to investigate a repair, hopefully that goes smoothly because this seems like a flaw in an otherwise good TV.

A Must for TV Enjoyment!

A truly terrific TV. My wife and I love it. The movies are amazing - but the best, for me, are the sporting events. Super Bowl was fantastic! And, as an avid golfer, I can even see the blades of grass and "breaks" on each green. Simply the best!

Good TV, could use some features on other brands

Have had this TV for a few months and generally liking it. Samsung has a strong product and it is reliable. Picture delivers good quality. What I don't like is that every time I turn it on, it defaults to fireTV instead of my being able to switch to my cable feed automatically. Also, although I may be behind technology, no headphone jack is bothersome for my older headphone hookup.

Excellent TV for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung TV is excellent and has all the features that you can ask for. We chose the size 85inches which is an upgrade from our 60inches TV before. Installation is easy with the help of my wife and son we were able to set it up. Setting up the TV is a breeze also, once you turn it on the TV itself will guide you step every step in setting up the connectivity and all features. What i like most of this TV is that the resolution is superb, very crystal clear, and with the size it even made it like we were watching in a theater. The color is so vibrant and clear! It really added a very great experience in our living room watching movies and we never want to go to the movie house anymore because you can watch at home like in a movie house already, you just need to get your popcorn and soda, and relax in our recliner chair infront of this huge TV. Another thing i like is the remote control, very small but very sleek and functional. You can do voice command on this tiny remote and it will bring you to the right channel or app that you want to go. This TV also features you need, from streaming different apps like youtube, hulu, samsung plus etc you can find it all in the home screen! Very easy to navigate, easy to use, and very user friendly! Overall, we are very satisfied with all the features of this TV. And lastly, you cannot beat the price, with the features added and the resolution and functionality, the price is reasonable and will not break your bank. Thank you samsung!!!

Tv is great ::remote and fail

Love my Samsung 65crystal Du8000 The picture is phenomenal! I purchased in December as a gift to myself , 5 months later still happy ! However :::: the voice remote I can not say the same thing ! Alexa voice never works ! The buttons do not work without voice activation! I have to mute it everyday to achieve the proper volume , or even having to leave on because of the buttons not working is frustrating and aggravating!

All In One TV Device Portal

Mind....Blown!!

The color and clarity of this Television far outdoes any and all expectations I previously had. I KNEW IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT I never expected it to be the mind blowing exceptional quality that it is! The ease of use and continuity from my Samsung cell phone, surround sound and other accessories is phenomenal. I can work, play music, watch a documentary and attend a virtual meeting all from my smart samsung television!! Perfect TV!

I bought this TV a few months ago to replace one that had died. This TV has a great picture and sound! I love all the features it has built right in. I can use all my streaming services as well as my off air antenna. I also enjoy the Samsung TV service!!

Dark spots in screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV is a year old. When the pictures is on i have these dark like clouding spots on the screen. If I'm watching hockey the ice is dark on that part of the screen. Almost like the back light led are burnt out.

I have a few recommendations that may resolve the white shadows and dark spots you are seeing on your screen. First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, run a diagnostic test. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. If there are no issues during the Picture Test, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines. - If the shadows still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If shadows appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.
