First I have to say is that it is a good mattress and my wife loves it. Unfortunately my back and hips are killing me. My wife is normal height and weight, but I'm 6' 3" and weigh 250 so maybe I'm the problem. What I would like to do is switch to a medium non hybrid and see if that fixes the problem since the wife Loves the bed, but as you know you can only change one time ( and I understand why) I am going to have to switch to a non hybrid firm mattress because my back can't take another mattress like this. On the plus side since I got this mattress I get up before 5 every morning (because of the pain) and have been able to get to work before every one else I guess if I had to make a recommendation I would have to say go ahead purchase a tempurpedic mattress but don't buy the hybrid if your a bigger person the springs won't support you properly.

Love the mattresses you have to give in a few weeks to break it in. I was about to exchange it, company told me give it a month.. I'm glad I did I love it. When you get it step all over it to break it in. It works !! Won't be disappointed a must buy.

The only thing I am slightly concerned about is that it is definitely more compressed where I sleep. I'm not sure if this is because it's only a few months old and needs to settle or what? Not too worried though given that the warranty will cover a replacement if it becomes too much of a problem.

This mattress is terrible. It is way too soft. I wouldn't call this a medium firmness. I sink in to the mattress and if my husband lays next to me, I am falling in to the dent he makes, and he is not a big guy. Every day I wake up feeling like I got hit by a bus. I wish I could return it buy the 90 day window closed unfortunately. I will never buy another Tempurpedic. I wasted a lot of money on a subpar mattress.

I ordered it online because I could get it sooner and it came with $300 credit toward sheets, which I also bought. I love the sheets, they're really soft after washing. But the mattress just doesn't seem right for us. We wake up with neck and back pain. Its only been a week and a half, so I'm hoping that we are still breaking it in because they said it could take up to a month to properly break in a mattress.

I do a lot of biking and skiing, so my body feels it at the end of the day, and the purple wasn't up to the task. But the Tempurpedic made an instant impact on my body and my sleep. I track my sleep patterns and there's little movement and I do not wake up at all, which tells me the bed is doing it's job. I feel better than I have in years mentally, so what more could I ask for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress has been wonderful and significantly reduce back pain we were not happy with the white glove service delivery They advise us what time they're going to be here and then called and didn't want to come but I have taken the day off work so request that they come when they got here they didn't want to set up the mattress and were rude to my husband and my son

I have found the mattress to be firmer than the one in the show room, making me wonder if it will become as comfortable as that one was. Hips and shoulders are less tight, but still feeling some of that after sleeping on my side. I was told it would take a bit of time to soften up a bit, so here's hoping.

I purchased a Stern and Foster firm mattress, slept on it for 30 days , I returned it. I jumped from mattress to mattress like the 3 Bears , finally I selected the The Tempurpedic Adapt Medium Hybrid, I have slept on it for 30 days , I feel much better . I still wake up with a little pain in my hip area, hopefully it will get better Now I need to look for a pillow that will help my neck !!!

This was our first memory foam bed, so we thought we were going straight to the top getting the name everyone knows. This bed was uncomfortable from the first night. It felt much firmer than it did in the store, and after reading more reviews, this is usually rated as a medium-firm on the comfort scale. We thought we would give it a fare chance, and ended up sleeping on it nearly the entire sleep trial, but the discomfort and pressure points that made my arms and hands fall asleep never relented. We ended up sending it back, which cost us $150 in freight charges, and it took a whopping 23 days for the refund to get back to our bank from the date the mattress was picked up. I would only recommend this bed to those who like a firm bed, and have money to burn. This mattress always felt hard as a brick to us, and we never saw the value in it for the premium price.
