Don't waste your money

only one year parts and labor? ridiculous! i bought this tv on 08/22/2020 and loved it - great picture, great sound, great size for our wall. then on march 3, we were watching the news and the screen flickered, then black screen of death. tried the troubleshooting on this site, no go. called the closest repair shop - it would take 2-3 weeks before it would be repair (if it could even be repaired) and would cost us more than what we paid for it. do not waste your money. i thought samsung was a quality company with quality products. i am severely disappointed and will not buy a samsung product again.

This product is an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 2014 Samsung tv, it was just too slow for me. This 2020 Samsung tv is much faster switching applications, the image while playing video games are much clearer, and the image while watching movies are much lively. I have the 65” but I want to purchase the 75” in the near future.

Great tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has exceeded my expectations, it's great. The picture is just beautiful, it's so crisp, clear and scary real, It's better than real life! The tv has all the great apps and options I wanted and it's is pretty cool. Its very simple to operate while still being technically advance. The sound is really good too. I listen to my music and jam out, it has good bass.

Great TV, limited app selection from Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've loved everything about the performance. The interface is solid (could be smoother) but the app selection given by Samsung isn't fantastic. There is no twitch app, no NHL.TV app, not sure if there is a nfl or nba app. Overall I really enjoy the TV and I'm fortunate enough to have a ps4 to stream on.

Fantastic picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up of this TV was really simple and the instructions are easy to follow. We have a stand for the tv so inserting the legs into it took less than a minute and a screwdriver isn't needed. I don't have a Samsung phone but I like the fact that you can use it to control the TV. I have now been using it for a few weeks and it does not disappoint. I really like the fact you have 5 different settings on the picture mode so you can change it depending on what you are watching. I like the dynamic for when we are watching new films but for the older tv shows I have found the natural or movie settings best as the dynamic is just too bright. The Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons are good to have and save time. It took a bit of Googling how to set up the antenna tv guide once we got a longer coaxial cable so that was a little bit annoying. I am used to having 3 hdmi ports and this does only have 2 but it's not a deal breaker. Having the Samsung tv plus channels is a really good feature even if there are a lot of channels to scroll through to find what you want, it does remember the last channel you were on though so if you have a favorite you don't need to try and find it again. There are a lot of buttons on the remote and to be honest I don't think you need that many as it's easy to catch a button you don't want to hit. I actually would prefer a larger remote so the buttons are further apart. My general overall opinion is that this is a great tv. It's not expensive and you get a brilliant tv with a fantastic clear picture and the sound is also very good. It's my first Samsung TV but it certainly won't be my last.

Great picture, great sound

The picture is great and I've never had to make any kind of adjustments since I've had it going on two years. It has 20w speakers that sound rich and are crystal clear. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase and will buy again in the future.

I like the quality and features of this tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV to replace an older one I had and was immediately impressed with the ease of setting it up. It's very easy to work with for gaming, or just using it to stream. I like having the Samsung TV option since I only have internet and no TV service but mostly I enjoy the quality of the screen and just how good everything looks on it, it's definitely something I would recommend to anyone I know.

Great picture/Great sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our TV for satellite and streaming. We love to watch sports and it has a great picture for football and baseball. The only thing we don't like is the mute notification that shows up every few seconds if muted. We just keep it volume 1 so we don't have to look at it.

Pixelation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great picture and bright but you clearly see distortion around objects when they move across the screen. Most times it isn't that noticeable but sometimes it's pretty disheartening because it's a brand new tv. I had an LG prior to this and never had any issues like what I'm having with my Samsung. It's disappointing I always bragged about a Samsung I owned years ago. I guess you need to spend a grand to get a better picture.

If you are experiencing distortion, the issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode. Lasted 1 1/2 years.

The TV picture is fine. It has enough inputs. The home screen is a bit messy and you can't remove certain channel icons to clean it up. The remote, I feel, has way to many very seldom used buttons. Those issues are subjective issues. What is not is the TV after 1 1/2 years is now randomly rebooting. I've updated & factory reset with the issue still present. So, I bought a larger TCL. WAY happier.

Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV.
