Smart tv- hardly

the software on this tv is so bad. operating this tv is a frustrating event each and every time. 1. “smart” feature which is supposed to return to last viewed app does not work, has never worked. it defaults to samsung content or sponsored content. i removed the samsung channel but cannot removed the sponsored content. 2. i am not allowed access to change picture size. there is text there but it is faded and will not let me use it. great idea, samsung!!! 3. device care not always available. many times it is faded and i cannot access. great idea samsung!!! 4. this software is poorly thought out and weak.

If you are trying to access these features which running Smart Hub (ex. watching Netflix, YouTube, etc.), you may want to switch to a normal video source (TV Plus, cable) and try again. Loved it while it worked

loved the picture, everything about it for 6 days. left the room for 30 minutes, came back and the picture was crazy! all sorts of colors all over the place and you couldn't even tell what was supposed to be on the screen. used the remote and turned the tv off. it never came on again. using a mirror, i can see the power button underneath the tv. when i click the power button on the remote, the little red light flashes. otherwise, no red light at all. i have researched and nothing i have tried has worked. called for service. by the way, the first one i had delivered had a smashed screen. it's the samsung 55-inch class crystal uhd tu-7000 series. replaced remote batteries, plugged tv directly into the outlet (verified outlet was working). tried many things other than taking the tv apart!

Vlin: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV. I am very sorry for the color glitch issue you encountered. Please check that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve this specific issue. To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote. - Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now - Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on. If your TV is not connected to the internet, follow these steps to update the firmware. - You can find the update (version 1301.5) at: samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020 - Extract the firmware to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.) - Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV. - Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes. - The TV will install the update and then restart. - Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button on your remote until the TV turns off and back on. What a wonderful tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tv. I now have two of them since the first one purchased a little while is so nice. The picture color is vivid and clear. The tv connects easily to the internet and does not lose connection like my other ones. The sound from the tv is good enough on its own but obviously better when a sound bar is used. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking to buy a tv.

Crystal Clear TV Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Samsung TV. Before this I had a 55" TV from a competitor (three letters is all I'll say) which died after only 2 years. When I got my new Samsung I immediately noticed how much clearer and almost lifelike the picture is. I watch both cable and streaming programs including movies and sports. And the picture has great detail and clarity. It's great to watch my Boston sports teams on my Samsung. I have the 58" set now but probably in a few years I will buy another Samsung, only it will be a 75" TV! Thank you Samsung!

Great for gaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great option for casual gaming or daily streaming. Not only does it come with Samsung's free streaming service with several personal favorite options, but it includes game mode for better visual display capabilities. Vibrant colors and crisp picture! One drawl back was that during streaming, images would become blocky and grainy in dark parts of the screen. Of course that could be due to data bottlenecks between the internet provider and the screen. This is not a problem during gaming oddly.

Issues with TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this for Direct TV and Streaming services. Sometimes there are lagging issues, pictures also becomes distorted/blurry. We have always used Samsung products, especially televisions because of quality of pictures. Also currently have model number UN55HU7250F and PN51E450A1FXZA and UN75NU6080F. We prefer the UN55HU7250F over all the others. Wish it was up to date, and not curved. Picture quality is best in our opinion.

Great features for great price

Why we always buy a Samsung

This tv has great features and great color

I also love how you have easy access to things such as Netflix, Hulu or any app you download by just clicking on the home button. My tv loads fast and the sound quality is great too. I can change the settings on the sound if I'm watching a movie. I also like how you can change the brightness of the tv at night time so it isn't too bright in my bedroom.

Greater than expected
