bam58: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the sound and your experience with Sling. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. great quality at a great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older 36" Samsung (2006 Touch Of Red model) I wanted to replace. Not because it didn't work but because I wanted a new modern smart TV Samsung builds TV's to last, 16 years is a long time for a TV hold up and keep working Anyway A few weeks ago I purchased a 43 inch Tu7000 for the bedroom. I was seeking a thin modern affordable TV with a great picture This was the ultimate choice! I also find this model has decent internal sound, without a soundbar but of course you can always add one which I'll do soon to watch my music videos. .
Spectacular Picture and Incredible Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this television to replace a smaller, more expensive set. As soon as it was set up, I was blown away not only by the incredible picture, but also the ease of use and surprisingly, the great sound it delivers. The dark background creates a crisp, clear picture that literally jumps out at me no matter what channel I'm watching. My old set sounded like noise inside a tin can compared to it and I still wonder how they were able to get this awesome sound out of such a thin television. Maybe the best thing about this set was the price, however. I knew Samsung was a decent brand so when I saw it was priced close to several "lesser" brands, I jumped at buying it and have never looked back.
Great picture. Good sound. Lots of apps.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this TV to replace a 32” Samsung (nothing wrong with it, just wanted to go a bit bigger) in my bedroom. Really impressed with the picture and sound that comes from the TV speakers. Love the amount of apps Samsung has on their TVs compared to some other brands. We have a different brand TV in another bedroom that still needs to use a Fire Stick because it comes with so few apps. The only negative I would say about this TV is it looks like there's a plastic film on the screen that needs to be removed when you're setting it up. (There is a sticky film on the bezel you have to take off.) I had to google it to see and saw a few horror stories and even a video of someone who totally ruined the screen because it's something you do NOT remove! This needs to be put as a warning on the paperwork to not remove it!
Lasted exactly 1 year then died
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Samsung TVs and generally they are pretty good. This unit was lightly used and the screen went out at almost exactly 1 year of use. The sound still works so it is like the good old days of staring at a radio.
Hi FloridaManWithNoTV, We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your TU7000 TV. Samsung prides itself on high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please know we are here to help you. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's entirely possible it could be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue: 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After reconnecting the external device, could you turn it off and back on? 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting to a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Samsung TV I purchased has a great picture.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So for my Samsung TV has met all my expectations, plus more, the smart part is great gives me a lot of options that are great and gives me access to a lot of channel options that are not accessible without the smart part. Would highly recommended the Samsung smart TV.
Great value!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Crystal UHD has some really nice features for streaming content. The display is also pretty high quality and really shows off for the price tag. Great value overall I think one of the best tv you can buy for this price range. One thing that I wish was better is the connection from the remote to the television. But there is an app that Samsung offers that let's you almost completely replace your remote for an app on your phone.
Great purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great purchase, I have it hanging in a wall, it's lightweight, it was easy to set up, smart hub easy to use with access to all current apps, quick response, all in one. I have also used it as PC monitor.
No Problems!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stream movies/tv series and I love my tv! The volume is great, I don't have to have it up so high to clearly hear it. This thing is bright though, so depending on what I'm watching, I may have to turn down the brightness. Animated movies look exceptional on here, bright colors, clarity…I truly have no complaints.
Great TV for the price!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't beat this TV for this price. Great picture quality and full of Smart TV features. Only 2 USB ports so if you need to connect more devices via USB, you may want to take this into consideration.
