It is quite gentle and easy to control where you trim and where you do not. It is not always the best at getting it all on the first pass, but a second usually gets it.

While it's not as close as using a razor, it's still super short. The best part? No knicks! I've jumped from razors or other trimmers when they get ahold of the skin. I have yet to have this happen and feel extremely comfortable with it.
