The sliding comb is really the one that gets the most use, but the others are useful for those who need a closer result. The battery life is good and it charges reasonably fast. You can get 100 minutes of use from one charge per the packaging. I haven't used it that much so it's hard to say how accurate that is, but battery life isn't an issue.

So many other brands say you won’t nick or cut yourself, but they always do just a little bit. Easiest way to get rid of unwanted body hair and not have it all over the place is to do it in the shower. This trimmer gives you guards to protect against nicking yourself as well as different attachments to allow you to choose the length of hair you leave behind, from nest to the skin short to about 3/8 of an inch long. Trimming it longer does avoid any ingrown hairs you may be subjectable to.
