I have used this in multiple hair textures on my body and it did not bog down or pull instead of trim the hair. It is waterproof so I will take it in the shower with me sometimes.

The guards provided give a few different length options and have round edges unlike some other trimmers I have tried (they had pointy edges that can be uncomfortable around sensitive skin areas). The shave head is well enclosed to prevent hair from building up inside and needing cleaning which is also a nice feature. Overall works well.

It comes with three different length guards so you can trim as per your desired length. I also like the size of this trimmer as it is easy to hold and not very heavy. Cuts very evenly, holds a long charge, rinses off with water (no need for that pesky brush), and the guards hold their position well. I don't use anything else for beard and body trimming (besides a razor for my neck)!

This allows you to get really close without any nicks, and no pulling on any hairs. This is also water resistant, so while you're in the shower you can still use it. Comes with three combs for a precise shave.

Setting 3 should be renamed the Mr Burns trim because you will be as bald as a newborn baby. Super easy setup and operation is a breeze. I would definitely recommend this product, just be careful.
