Purchased this after visiting my son at Lake Murray SC … enjoy the spacious interior and user friendly interface! There were some negative comments concerning the child lock, however my wife and I use it. This is a sturdy, well designed microwave with a reputable manufacturer. Should this ever need replacing, if they are still in production, we will most certainly purchase another!

I really like this microwave. It is a large capacity unit. The different elements (buttons) are very helpful and useful. I would recommend this microwave to anyone who is looking for a large microwave with great reheating, defrosting, and warming elements.

I downgraded the number of stars for one minor detail. We use the Sensor Cook feature a fair amount. For this, there are 14 different selections for the food type you want to cook. You must press the Sensor Cook button the number of times (up to 14 times) to select the right cycle rather than touch the key pad and press”1” “4”, for example, which would be a great deal easier! Other than that, we like the new microwave’s size and power!

I had to buy a new microwave and decided this was the one. I love it. It's large enough for a large pyrex dish, heat more than one item at a time, lots of room. I really like the defrost button. In my old microwave, if I defrosted something, it always came out half cooked. In this microwave, so far the defrost button has worked so much better.

I have used this microwave for only 3 weeks. It works well. I have to refer to the owner’s manual frequently because it’s more “high tech” than my previous microwaves. It has a 30-second button, but you must press “start” after pressing the button. Also, on my previous microwaves I could press just the “1” button to cook on high for 1 minute, and “6” to cook for 6 minutes, etc. On this model, I must press 1:00 and “start” which is 4 presses rather than one. On the plus side, it defrosts ground beef better than any microwave I have ever used!

We purchased the Panasonic 2.2 cu. ft. microwave to replace an older microwave that decide to quit on us. While researching, we discover this new "induction" technology. What exactly is "induction" technology? We don't know. The only notable difference is, instead of pulse warming, when you select 50% power, this new microwave is capable of lowering it's output without having to pulse. It's difficult to explain, but pulse (the old method) has a tendency to not penetrate the center of cold foods. When the microwave continually pumps waves (at a lower wattage), it is capable of reaching deeper within the food, without nuking the exterior. Solid buy.

Great for faster heating and defrosting. Issues so far include inadequate cavity lighting. Cannot see what is happening (boil over, etc), and exterior clock timer to dim and wrong color to see well in a lighted kitchen (my old one you could read across the room).

This beauty gets hot and works very well. The push buttons below the numbers are easier for my visually impaired son. The only downfall is no quick preset buttons. If you want one or two minutes, you must press 100 or 200 then start. It cooks and warms so well that this is a small inconvenience. It looks nice in the kitchen too.

This is the same make, size and watts as our old Microwave. It lasted over 15 years, so I hope the updated Version will stay around as long or longer! This was the best deal we found comparing size & wattage! It has so many features and each one works great, taking a lot of the guess work out of microwave cooking!

So far, so good. I won't say what brand I have had for the past 30 years as they are so much easier to operate, but this still deserves five stars. It is taking a little getting used to with so many more button presses to perform to do the same thing. It is much larger than my precious 1.6 cu ft, and it is most definitely quieter - very quiet, actually. It also cooks evenly from middle to the outside edge, something my last previous brand did not handle well. I'm more than happy with this Panasonic.
