This is my second microwave oven try with Sam's Club and I got a lemon again. That's why I gave it four stars. The problem that I had with it was that I could not get the chemical smell out of the microwave. Every time I cooked in it for a long period a chemical smell would appear. I don't know what that was. Also if you're a popcorn person this microwave will burn your popcorn every single time no matter what you do. You might as well get a hot air popper that's separate. I like popcorn and my old microwave never burned popcorn. This microwave the inverter takes the moisture out of the kernel and they burn. Not all of them but you will have a substantial amount burn and you have to cook it for so little that you get very little out of the amount of popcorn you put in it so it feels like a waste of kernels. The positive about this microwave oven is that it really cooks well. Also it's bulky but not heavy. When I turned it on I noticed that it didn't have the power draw that a regular microwave does. I think that's the inverter feature. It runs quietly. I got it on sale and it was a terrific bargain. The light inside is adequate and turns on both when you cook food and when you open the door. It's big but it feels kind of tinny on the outside like the outside of it has no substantial strength to it. For the size of it you would think that it would be very heavy but it is not. It does not dry out food. I noticed that as well. Even when I overcooked my food which I like to do it did not dry it out. Once again the inverter feature. The child safety lock if you don't want to use it is easily disarmed. The features are pretty no nonsense in that when you want to cook you have to type in everything on it I believe. That was the other thing I noticed I had to put in like the exact minutes unless it was just a 30 second add-on.
