I dislike having so many "features" that you have to constantly refer to the manual for programming them all and figuring out how to use them. My twenty-plus year old Quasar finally bit the dust, it worked great for a long time and I would've bought another one if they still made them. So many "features" it's a pain in the rear just to warm up a cup of coffee. And, as they say, the more "stuff" something has, the more "stuff" that can go wrong. This will probably be in a land-fill within five years. (Or less.)

I bought this today to replace my much-loved and incredibly reliable 1988 Panasonic microwave. (Yes, the date is correct!) The old one still works, but it is failing. I can't wait to explore all of the features of this new model. It is exactly what I want at an excellent price.

We recently bought this last weekend and it was replacing our NN-T975SFX that we retired after 17 years! While I want to give it a 5* we found out that is does NOT have the "your food is ready" after beeping... why on earth would you take this feature out Panasonic!?? That's the dumbest thing you have done, sorry but its true. Seems we have, whether answering the door, or phone, missed the beeps and have over cooked a few things because of this NECESSARY feature that should be standard! Just to be sure, we did call Panasonic (better than bankers hours) and the lady said that feature is no longer. I did asked if it was on any other model, she said no, but there is one that uses Alexa. We don't use Alexa. So, no thank you. I want, what should be standard, as it was standard on our old model, back in play PLEASE Panasonic. Otherwise great updated microwave, clean and slick looking! #putbackwhatyoushouldnthavetakenoff

This is the first microwave we’ve bought in decades that will not allow you to change power level in the middle of cooking. You have to completely cancel out and restart. Furthermore, when changing the power level, this is the first microwave we’ve seen in decades that will not allow you to press POWER LEVEL then 3 to get 30%. You have to hit POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL POWER LEVEL to get 30%. Because they increased the wattage, package instructions don’t work. For example, I just cooked oatmeal. The instructions say 2 1/2 to 3 minutes on HIGH. I did 2 1/2 minutes **on 80%.** I stepped away and came back at 2:00 to find it had already bubbled over everywhere. Plan on having to calculate everything at 70%. Never again!!

This is a very nice, big microwave oven with lots of bells and whistles which I didn't expect. It was a replacement of my old Panasonic 1.6 cu. ft. microwave oven which served my family for many years but when it died, the only place that would deliver the quickest was samsclub.com! I am one of many satisfied customers of Sam's Club with one of the best customer service in the world, really.

The microwave works good. We had a built-in microwave that broke and bought this as a replacement. It was convenient for us to pick it up from Sam club the same day. I would like to get some suggestions on the trim kit. Hope someone can help and share links.

Right from the start, an absolute dud! What is worse, it was a replacement for just about the same model, that we absolutely loved but after about 15 years it looked used up. This microwave had a malfunction that gave us loud popping noises every time it rotated clockwise. It drove was crazy, since we use it numerous times per day. We had to stop it several times in order to "force" it to rotate counterclockwise, when it made no noise. Eventually, after a couple of years of torture, we realized that if we took out the plastic ring, it stopped making the noise Recently, after no more than two years or so of owning it, it stopped functioning on a setting we used very frequently, to make rice. Also, the regular setting started working at about 40% power. What used to take about a minute to boil water, for example, now takes 2 1/2 or more. Right from the start, this was a lemon and it has been a nightmare forlong as we've had it. The reason we did not return it is because we don't go inside stores and this one was a royal pain to acquire!

We purchased this to replace a Panasonic 2.2cu ft microwave. They were pretty much the same with one exception. The old one was really had a stainless steel exterior. This one is painted with a metal flake to look like stainless steel. Certainly the description is misleading. It works fine, a little louder than the old one.

Have been using this microwave for almost 2 years - bought it because I was so pleased with it's predecessor, which I use for more than 10 years. LOVE the Genius cook and reheat features. Reliable and easy to clean, inside and out. When it dies, I will buy the then-equivalent model, I am sure.

A good replacement for our older LG. Coocks very fast, expect to adjust your cooking times down a fair bit, or use the power feature more. Popcorn fature is a miss, it uses pre-set bag sizes, not a sensor, so if you let it just run you will have burnt popcorn, gotta watch it Timer is an issue, cannot run the timer while cooking. REally dislike that part, but it never occoured to me that it would work likethat, havent seen one in a decade or more that can't multi task, also the alarm is on the quiet side.
