We needed a microwave quick because ours just stopped working. Our replacement had to fit in a cabinet that the old one came out of. So far we like this. Great value for the money. My only complaint is that the display for the clock is not very bright at all. We can barely see it if you’re standing right in front of it. But the performance of the appliance is great.

Our older large capacity microwave died and reviews (plus consumer reports) lead us to this microwave. So far, all is great! The defrosting is very even for large capacity roasts and smaller items. The manual power level settings have plenty of room for my largest bowls of dough when I want to rapid rise. It has the auto settings and the manual power settings that I use often. I haven’t found anything to complain about yet. Love it but as I said it is big! Measure your spot first!

We were looking for a larger microwave and after searching, came across this one. The features and reviews gave enough information along with brand name to make the purchase. Our family uses the microwave a lot and this one has been easy. It runs very quietly, cleans easy, and looks good. The price was excellent and this item will be in the kitchen for several years to come.

We purchased the Panasonic 2.2 cu. ft. Microwave Oven as a replacement for a smaller replacement oven that only lasted a little over a month that we had purchased from Walmart. (The old microwave that we had used for years finally died and it was about the same size as this new Panasonic.) I really love the size of the oven cavity. I can use a 9”x13” dish to bake cakes and it easily clears the sidewalls and rests perfectly on the large glass turntable! The turntable can handle heavy glass casseroles and pans without hesitating and making a lot of noise like the first smaller replacement microwave oven from Walmart. This is a large microwave and it takes up more room on the countertop than the one we used for years, but the size makes the oven more versatile as one can prepare large quantities of recipes using older microwave cookbooks that were written in the 1970’s and 1980’s. I have not noticed any undue overheating of the outside of the oven, or of the interior of the oven. The lighted interior is a plus that our old microwave oven did not have. The noise level is about average for microwave ovens. I have been using my old microwave cookbooks and we are enjoying a variety of dishes that I previously would have had to bake in our conventional oven. Living in the Desert Southwest, I avoid the regular oven when it is hot, which is much of the year. This new microwave oven is convent to use, the digital display is easy to read, and foods reheat and also cook evenly. I recommend this oven for someone who enjoys cooking, wants to save time in the kitchen, and would prefer a larger size microwave oven for preparing larger quantities than smaller units allow.

I was looking for a larger microwave, but I couldn't picture in my head how big 2.2 cubic feet would be...it's huge (and that's not a bad thing)! The 1250 watts makes it 25% stronger than my last microwave, so I'm still getting used to that much power. The auto-cook feature tends to overheat my foods, so I don't let it finish before I check it. It's a great microwave!
