I got two kayak for Christmas last year. One was a Sun Dolphin the other was the Tamarack Angler 100. Took the family out to try them both kayaks out and everyone loved the Tamarack. Throughout the day the kids and adults fought over the tamarack. It had a better more comfortable seat. Everyone said it was more stable and they felt safer even when the wind picked up. I told my wife I was going to modify it more for fishing she told me "Not the Tamarack that ones my favorite do it to the other one." So I bought another Tamarack and couldn't be more happy.

I purchased mine 3 years ago very happy ! I bought it as a beginner an kept it as a pro. My buddies have quite expensive kayaks & are always changing up & never happy with what they buy Something is always wrong with those pricey kayaks. Not to mention that they can’t get them out of their trucks to the water. Too Heavy. Mine is light weight @ a base weight of 52 lbs its a breeze. Even with a bad back ! Something to consider when purchasing a kayak An don’t forget your going to be less enthused about lugging it back up to your vehicle after a long day on the water. I’ve upgraded about everything on my kayak. Seat, paddle, Yac & Scotties fly fishing pole holder, & depth & fish finder etc etc. Love it !! & you will too !! It’s not for the rapids by any means Just a nice day on the water I plan on using mine for a Lifetime ! Very safe & stable

I contacted Lifetime Customer Service via their web form to see if I could purchase a replacement nose pug for my Angler 120, I was just looking for a price but John immediately shipped out a complete assembly at no charge. I thanked him, advising I was not anticipating such a quick response nor at no cost and that I was also missing a cleat to secure the rear shock cord system. John responded by advising one had been added to the shipment free of charge. In an era of sub-par customer service this is incredible and a welcome change. Some may say don't get excited they are relatively inexpensive parts, I say it is Lifetime's hassle free approach that made the difference. I give John and Lifetime 10 stars for exceeding this customer's expectations! My boat is whole again and I am very satisfied :-)

I almost died in Mexico yesterday when this kayak sank under me. I lost a 300 dollar credo fishing real and had to swim 300 yards kayak in tow. When I got back to shore the kayak was completely filled with water and it had three gashes in the bottom. The kayak has a paper thin bottom and is dangerious. I will be returning it to sports athority where I bought it, do not buy this kayak.

I bought two of the lifetime tamarack fishing kayaks a year ago. They are very comfortable and easy to handle. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good fishing kayak or just one to paddle around.

My wife surprised me and bought two of these. I had little expectations since I’m used to my pirogue. These kayaks have been fun for the whole family. We’ve taken them to the Biloxi area, Lake Taneycomo, and several ponds and creeks you’ve never heard of. They’re lots of fun

I will say the Angler Kayak I have was sold to me gently used. My friend decided that after 3 uses he just wasn't built for kayak fishing. So I jumped at the chance to buy it from him!!! I love the kayak, it is perfect for my little fishing lake as a beginner kayaker. I added an anchor trolley line and love the ability to just sit and fish in one spot!! The kayak was missing the rod holder, so I contacted Lifetime and worked with Brenna to get a replacement. She is fantastic!!! The Angler is stable and easy to move thru the water, it sits perfectly in the water to fish from! I would buy this kayak again!!! In fact I might get one for the hubby!!!

When buying a kayak, you want to make sure the stability and durability of the kayaks are up to standard. This large size kayak is very stable and durability is much better than the street brand. I don't have any leaks so far after a couple of years of use. I store them outside under the sun and rain. It does not seem to really affect them much in terms of UV. This is perfect for family as I have a number of kids. the tandem works very well with having 2 people on board.

He loves all the storage and the features it has. Super comfortable to spend hours on the lake with. He has added a few after market items but mostly it's perfect just the way it came. Sometimes he even just practices his casting from it on the lawn!
