Bought these instead of the jumbo crab legs from the meat department I originally has in my cart because these were on sale. So I figured for half the price I'd give an a try. That sales tag should have been a giant red flag. These were beyond "fishy" and tasted off, like they had sat for a week or so before they were processed. Will not but again.

We love crab, but the cost is too much for how much meat is actually in the crab; at least the was the case for the bag I got. All the weight for the 2lbs must have been mostly shell. Quite disappointing for my Valentine's Day dinner with my son; we finished the whole bag ourselves and were still left feeling hungrier before eating everything else than other times we've bought crab legs for cheaper at another store [and yes, we even picked at the body meat and all the other nooks/crannies]. Would be nice if there was a way to really get a fair price for crab legs; like figure out the average weight of the shelling alone and subtract that from the overall weight of what would be one whole crab so you're really calculating the weight of the *meat* that's being paid for to be eaten.

These were not fresh. The ones with black spots tasted horrid! Extremely salty! I ate one leg that was perfect the rest of the bag went to the garbage! I would never buy these again! What a waste of money! By the way, half the bag had black spots. Very disappointed with the quality.

This was our go to for decades. I don’t know what happened here. But the last few times we bought over the last year or two the quality has been poor. Many legs are empty. Meet in the thinner legs is dry/old (and not because improperly cooked) also meat is salty now not sweet. Such a bummer because I was really looking forward to some tasty crab. I wish they’d go back to what they sold before! It was much better

We bought 2 bags of these. Over half the ones we cracked open had no crab. They were just empty shells. We buy these for my birthday every year and this is the second time they have been like this. Such a huge waste of money. I had to run to the store and get something else because we invited my parents.

We purchased 7 bags of these snow crab legs for a large crab boil we hosted. The crab meat was delicious and thick. I was skeptical in purchasing after reading prior reviews but I'm glad I did. The crab meat compared to the crab meat I get at the seafood calabashes when vacationing on the East coast. I highly recommend.

We bought for our new year dinner, they were so bad our cats wouldn't even touch them. the meat what there was stringy and very salty, and didn't smell good. We tried several pieces some were A little better. We bought these several times before and they were ok. smelled spoiled hope they don't make me sick.

I bought these yesterday 1-22-19. when I opened the bag they, they had a strong smell to them. there were about 5 clusters with 4 or 5 legs per cluster. I steamed them for 4 minutes. when I took them from the pot they looked terrible. one was brown and dried out, 3 of the cluster bodies had light brown crab meat. one crab claw was black inside. and most of the legs had dried up meat inside. I ate what I could but that wasn't very much. I really wanted a nice dinner, but that didn't happen. I'lll have to think twice before I buy them again. If I do. I hope you correct the problem. they used to be good.

Used to buy these all the time. Just renewed membership after a one year absence and these were the first thing I bought. They were brown and had very little meat in then. You can hold the cooked product up to light and see how little is inside. The best way I can think of to describe them would be they appear old, past their prime. And you can't see through the bag so you don't know until purchased and opened. I think I will stick to my local market where I can see what I'm getting. And the price on these is not so good anymore.

I'd been buying these bags over the last couple of years, and was completely satisfied. The last bag I bought a week ago, out of the six or so "bodies" only one had a claw. And, where that particular leg had been "removed" the stub was black. I'm not going to buy these anymore, the picture on the bag does NOT represent what you get.
