These wood pellets work perfect in my Treager. I'm not fancy enough for the "cherry wood" or the "apple wood"! This blend gives me a perfect smoky flavor that I'm looking for. The blend has the popular mesquite and hickory which for me, is perfect. And the price is right!

Not great. Ran out of our other pellets before starting some chuck roast in our Traeger. I smoked for quite a few hours then braised. Used for shredded beef tacos. The meat tasted weird. I thought it might've been a weird seasoning, but something was “off” with the flavor. Fast forward to Valentine's Day. I smoked and reverse sear New York strips for wife and I, which I've done before and tasted amazing. Didn't give much thought and just made sure pellets were full using this same stuff. My first bite of steak and there was that weird flavor that I experienced when I smoked the chuck. It's hard to describe the taste. It's like an added fake meat flavor. So weird. I was so frustrated that these steaks were wrecked with the funky smoke that these pellets produced. I've cleaned these out of my smoker and I will trashing the rest of these pellets. No good.
