Excellent hardwood smoker pellets for the price!

I have bought these pellets for our Traeger smoker three times now and am loving the price! They are much cheaper than the “name brand” pellets, and get the job done just as efficiently. I will definitely be buying these pellets again!

8th bag, still great!

On our 8th bag of these now and can’t recommend them enough! We smoke meat at least once a week and use a pellet-fed kettle grill at least once a week, and these pellets have been super great. The value can’t be beat. We use RecTeq grills and have had no problems with these feeding or burning. They produce excellent flavor as well.

Fantastic Value

Living in California we burn though 80-100 pounds of pellets per month so purchasing pellets at $36 for 40 pounds gets a little pricey. We smoke bacon, jerky, brisket, ribs, cheese, etc. as well as grilling and searing at high temperatures. We have owned a pellet grill for more than 8 years. Since purchasing a RecTeq ST- 700 two years ago we have only purchased RecTeq, Cookin Pellets and on a few occasions Kingsford or Traeger. Last month I discovered Sam’s Club sells Smokehouse brand for $14.98 for 40 pounds and after reading various reviews decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Smokehouse had very little sawdust when putting them through a sieve prior to loading the hopper. The amount of sawdust is almost non existent when compared to the other aforementioned brands. The pellets seem to be a uniform size and color. After testing the temperature consistency @ 180, 225, 450 and 600 I found no issues with the pellets maintaining an accurate and even temperature. At the conclusion of testing the first 80 pounds of pellets I have found that there is significantly less ash than Kingsford or Traeger. The flavor is mild, sweet and flavorful, with the final result every bit as good as the other brands blends. Smokehouse Blend is now my pellet of choice.

Great Flavor, Low Ash & very little dust in bag

Great Results so far, I've done Tri-Tip, Brisket, Ribs, Jalapeno poppers with crab, hassellback potatoes, salmon, reverse seared steaks, and burgers all have come out fantastic with the smokehouse blend. The flavor is good and they seem to be more efficient than other brands I've used with less ash. Price is right as well.

Great Pellets, Great Price

I'm a weekend warrior smoker and 1-3 night per week griller that goes through a decent amount of pellets in my Camp Chef Woodwind. I've tried several brands and have given away bags due to them not working well in my grill/smoker. I ran out of my usual & couldn't find them locally, and found the big "T" brand unsatisfactory even in my first purchase. Thankfully my local Sam's had the Smokehouse Blend pellets in stock, so I ordered them on the app and picked them up at the club. The 100% hardwood pellets without fillers, oils, etc. are easy burning and have no problem chugging along in my pellet smoker/grill. The taste isn't overwhelming like some other styles. The price on the 40lb bag is exactly what I expect and appreciate. I bought 2 of the 40lb bags and will be buying many more as long as Sam's keeps stocking them.

Great Price and Great flavor!

I have been shopping around for pellets that are of quality and good price. These bags are less then have of all the other stores and online. Did chicken with Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and chopped potatoes for the first use. IT WAS AWSOME! Both my wife and I loved it. The flavor was Smokey but mild. Not overwhelming as I cooked it at 330 degrees. Dust was minimal at the bottom of the bag. Probably like a 1/8 cup worth on the last dump. I purchased 200 pounds more of this pellet just to make sure they didn’t run out on my at the store as Sams can sometimes do.

Great pellets!

I really like these pellets. I have a Pit Boss smoker and used the Pit Boss Competition Blend pellets for years. I decided to try Smokehouse BBQ pellets and love them. I'll keep buying them as long as Sam's Club carries them. I actually bought 5 bags in anticipation of Sam's Club removing them from the seasonal item area.

Great quality pellets

I have ran roughly 800 pounds of these through my Recteq in 2 years and they perform perfectly every time. I only clean my fire pot out once a year, so two times now, lol. There is no need to fall for gimmicks that other pellets advertise, these are the real deal and turn out amazing BBQ. They also will get plenty hot if you like to grill on your pellet cooker. My Recteq will get a little over 700°F/371°C when turned all the way up to sear steaks.
