These pellets give a nice "generic" smoke flavor since they're a blend. I've been running these as the main fuel source in my Rec Tec and I'll supplement with a pellet tube that has a single variety of pellets when I want to shift the flavor profile for a given cook. I've got over 600 lbs of these and I'm going back for more...

Decent enough of a pellet but burns roughly 10% cooler than the previous ones (Cabela’s) I ran. I have my Traeger Select set to “High” and it easily ran 400°+ with the Cabela’s pellets but with these pellets, my grill is fighting to maintain 372° and it’s 100° outside.

Great pellets..uniform size no clogging the auger My pellet grill worked great until Sams didn't carry the pellets over the winter and I had to buy Pit boss pellets. The pit boss pellets are different sizes and jammed up my auger causing all kinds of problems.. I was so happy to see sams has these again..pellet grill working great again!!!

Better heat regulation and burning consistency than other brands. Universal flavor for everything from chicken to beef to pork. Best to keep a bag of apple or fruit flavored pellets handy to mix in when doing the more delicate meats, as it does add a smoky flavor for those who aren’t accustomed to it. Gets my Traeger over the 450° maximum temp, so has a good, hard burn, and is very cost effective for long smokes. Better priced than many high end brands that are priced for the name versus usability and quality.

I have been using these pellets for over a year in my Pit Boss 1100 Pro Series Grill and my Pit Boss Series 5 Vertical Smoker. Excellent quality, excellent smoke. I have smoked several meats overnight and ranging 15-20 hours at a time. I have never had an issue with these pellets in either my grill or smoker, for any reviews that say otherwise I assume it’s some kind of user error. I personally prefer the smoke that these pellets produce over the Pit Boss / Louisiana Grill Competition Blends. Excellent pellets, I just wish Sams Club shipped them :)

I am using coking on my Camp Chef a couple times a week if not more. When I started with a pellet grill I tried out many different brands, to included the coveted big T. I have to say these have been the best overall pellets I have found. 40lbs is good at the Sam’s price and makes me want smoke more if that darn job didn’t interfere.

I always buy these each time I visit Sams Club. I do a lot of cooking on my smoker and this item definitely provides a great experience! Extremely great flavor for everything...pork, beef and chicken. Great smoke flavor and very little ash. A very reasonable price and much better value than any name-brand smoker pellet out there. I just hope my local club continues to stock this item.

Love the smokehouse brand. I'm really sad they got rid of the bourbon barrel pellets at Sam's but their competition works. Hopefully it's just a seasonal option. Prefer it over the kingfords blend they had. That blend did not give the smoke flavor well. This has a great light flavor. I prefer the heavier flavors from the bourbon barrel but you take what you can get. At $15 for 40lbs I'm not upset and highly recommend this product. However I HIGHLY suggest you get some sort of sealed container or at least a large contractor bag to close the bag up. Unless you are knocking a bag out in a few months the pellets will absorb moisture and be less efficient/make more ash in the grill.

These are truly fabulous. I use 1 or 2 tablespoons in my indoor smoker (looks like a big crock pot) and the flavor is amazing. I am really picky and tried many kinds of woods chips over the past year. I also smoke meat at leadt once a week throughout the year. A 2 lb bag is $7 Ive used several kinds even pecan (highly adored) and these are best. Run don't walk on this. I just sent a friend a screenshot to purchase.

I've burned120lbs of these pellets in my Weber Smokefire without a single problem. The Smokefire can be picky on the pellets used due to the hopper design. Larger diameter or long pellets will tend to form a bird's nest over the auger and prevent pellets from feeding. These pellets are of uniform length, about 3/8" long, and feed perfectly. The flavor is very nice - about what any blend of pellet tastes like and they've never overpowered the food. I've tried about every pellet out there and these are way up my list, especially at their price point!
