If so unfortunately, our units will not work with those type of batteries as is it not a standard size that needs to be inserted into our unit. Please try non alkaline batteries. If you are still experiencing issues with your lid please reach out to us directly at https://ninestarsusa.com/ and fill out a claim so we may send you a replacement lid.
