Lays classic used to be the top dog of potato chips. Crunchy, great flavor, everything. Behind them ruffles, and then other brands to me, though my brother had doritos, all of them part of lays company. However, after the change the chips tasted like cardboard with an extremely bad taste and worse aftertaste. I can understand the two reasons the company decided to change their product. The first was that people did not know they were made from real potatoes. Honestly I do not care if they were made from real metal, if I wanted chips that is what I bought because they were great. The second was to try to make their brand for health nuts. I get it, but honestly who eats chips when they are eating healthy? The new lays chips line is so bad I would ask they be removed entirely from stores, as everyone in my family and those that I know refuse them.

I used to buy GV. chips until they changed them to incredibly hard. The Lays are just as I remember when I was a kid. My Dad worked as a Lay's potato chip man! He had his own route %26 delivery/sales!! Best chips on earth and now affordable in the "CLASSIC CHIP" THANK GOD!! LOVE THEM!!

Perfect execution: crunchy, not too much salt, not burnt %26 thicker than usual! Majority of chips NOT BROKEN, making them EXCEPTIONAL for a change. Yummmmmm, yummmm, yummmmy!!! Great job Lay's--thanks for an EXTRA TASTY snack! IF you could ALWAYS make your chipscto this standard, I'm sure we would eat them more often.( Then exercise our butts off--even tho they are "gluten free" %26 have zero trans fat!) Y'all ALMOST rose to the "Charles Chips" standards--that's really tough to do too!!!

When I ordered this item, I forgot a very important fact they use palm oil. and as we all know the extraction of pam oil destroys the habitat of orangutans. Therefore I will not be buying any more Lay's potato chips. There are many other brands out there that are just as good.If not better

I always come back to classic Lay’s. There’s just something about the simple combination of potatoes, oil, and salt that never gets old. They’re perfectly crispy, not overly greasy, and have just the right amount of salt. The party size is dangerous because I fully intend to share… and somehow the bag keeps finding its way back to me. 😅

Lays Classic chips have really improved. There are so many large crispy chips in the bag now. I had been disappointed the past couple of years. There were not many good size chips just alot of little broken ones. Now there is a new type of bag which really deals in freshness and there are so many large crispy chips. The chips are adequately salted.

Love the chips, hate the new packaging. The bright yellow packaging suited the chip the best. When you bite into a Classic Lay’s potato chip it is like stepping into sunshine. I’m 76 years old and I can’t eat that left over turkey sandwich without the original Lays potato chips in the bright yellow packaging. Please don’t take away the sunshine.

My husband insists on this brand fir thevrest of his life. They are that good. When you try other chips, you'll always come back to this. Taste and freshness is their key ingredient.

I love using instant potatoes because they are easy and quick to fix I am a widow so I can fix a small amount and can have cream potatoes whenever I want them

Again, what happened to the price of things. They have overpriced these things to the point where you just about have to buy the no name brand or go without.
