I have been an avid fan of Lays Potato Chips for as long as I can remember. I like them plain, in a PB%26J, with dip, or just a crunchy yummy snack. For the first time the entire bag is over cooked, and possibly thicker cut. I also found a potato that was dark almost black bruised or damaged. Please do not eat the chips that look odd. I will not stop eating Lays Classic Potato Chips and hope this was a one time only situation. Simple, good ingredients.

Now it has a chemical under taste. Gross. Had a great product for decades that everyone loved, and they've ruined it. Typical corporate boardroom greed, CEOs tripping over a dime to save a nickel. Don't know what they did, but Lays chips just killed themselves. IDK if it's the plastic packaging they're using or what, but it taste like chemicals instead of potatoes. No more buying Lays for me.

I love these chips, it’s my opinion that the Lays potato chips are the best tasting chips, that being said, I wouldn’t recommend them solely because no matter how many larger sized bags I buy of these chips only the top couple of layers ( probably around 20-30 chips) are whole chips and the rest of the bags are always crushed or crumbs so they’re definitely not worth the money. The smaller individual bags are not like this, it seems to be mainly the larger one making it a waste of money

I only buy Lays Potato Chips without the fancy flavors. I like the regular ones and the ones with less salt. I eat them alone. I dip them in French Onion Sour Cream dip. I eat them with my sandwiches and sometimes I put them on my sandwiches. The regular flavor is the best in my opinion.

I buy it to snack on instead of having real food. half the time I don't eat. I eat the chips but the last 17 times I purchased it and I purchased it a lot. it's been stale and very nasty and half the time. it's either too salty or not salty enough but I still eat it anyway because it's the only thing I can really afford and it's not worth more than $3 a bag because half of the bag is air

I don’t know WHAT!! Lay’s is doing with this chip but for the last 2 purchases they have NOT been like the past. These things are not greasy and have the snap they use to. They are not flavorful and somehow taste artificial. They are way too expensive to have changed like this and I won’t be buying them again until the old recipe is back.

These are the best! I have bought other plain potato chips but these seem to have the best flavor and less dark spots than other brands. Price can be a little higher but trade off of tossing less chips is worth it. I have found that buying two small bags is cheaper at times so watch for sales!

New packaging on this product. I thought at first I had ordered the wrong product but not so. I feel like after opening the bag it still holds the freshness . Family size bag last me a long time and I appreciate the idea on things staying fresh. It’s always been my favorite chip. Quality and consistency over the years have kept me purchasing Frito Lay products.

She was my last rider of the night. It was 2:00 AM, and I was soon to go home, but this one last ride would finish the night. I pulled up to the building, a downtown condo building as tall as they come in my city. She was waiting, red high heels and a black dress and a long black coat. Her lipstick was as red as a tomato at the end of August but her skin was paler than porcelain. She sat down in the back. The streets were empty at the late hour, and we drove in silence. After a couple of miles she asked, “A busy night for you?” “No,” I said. “The weekday nights are slow once the airport calms down. You are the last rider of the night.” “Do you do this every night?” she asked. “Most nights. It’s better than flipping burgers,” I replied. “Do you have anyone you go home to?” I was used to these kinds of questions. At two in the morning, sometimes people were looking for more than a ride. “No, it’s just me,” I said. And then she went silent as we passed darkened houses and empty storefronts. It was almost 2:30, and I stopped in front of the house next to a wrought-iron fence. There were no streetlights on this road, but I could still make out a house that looked more like a castle than anything else. I put the car in park. “I could take you away from all of this,” she said. “You wouldn’t have to drive another night.” “Are you offering me a job?” I asked. “Not a job,” she said. “A whole new life. I glanced at her face in the rearview mirror. She smiled, and I finally noticed the pointed incisors of a vampire. “One bite, and I can take you away.” “I’ll pass,” I said. “But why?” she asked. “Do you want this? Driving people at this hour for pennies. I can give you immortality.” “I’m good,” I said. “I don’t mind the gig. Plus, every night I go home I open a bag of Lay's Classic Potato Chips Party Size 13 oz. They’re salty but not too strong. They’re thin and crispy, and they remind me of a summer picnic when I was a teenager. And, it’s a big bag but only five bucks at Wal-Mart. If you’re not too stingy on the tip, I might even go home with two bags tonight.” I turned and she caught the gleam of the crucifix hanging from my neck. She hissed at me and ran out of the car and toward the castle. In the darkness I thought I saw a bat in the air fly to an upper floor, but I wasn’t sure. I put the car into gear and headed to the 24-hour Wal-Mart. I never saw her again.

The only bad thing I can say about these chips are most if not, 3/4 of them of the bag are crumbs they need to find a better way to get them to the store into your house cause you’re paying enough for them to be hole not cramps seems like they keep getting worse. Every time I get biome, hoping there will be whole chips instead of crumbs.
