caused acne on me

This breaks me out. I am in mid 40 and rarely have acne on. My face n neck has been so dry taut so i tried “ slugging”. Big mistake. I woke up with lots clogged pores and white heads. Got red acne in neck and chest ( first time in my life). It feels leas tacky than vaseline but it def breaks me out. Dont out it on face or neck or chest. Legs and arm didnt breaknout after application but somewhat itchy.
