We bought this on Black Friday in 2019. At first we were pleased with it, but in August of this year it just stopped working. I called the Tristar Products' customer service and I was told to ship the unit back to them (at my cost, which was $50 via FedEx) and they would replace it. With the tracking number, I confirmed that they received it. Several weeks later, we still didn't have our replacement. Many calls and emails later, I finally spoke to someone who said they would be "happy to place an order for the replacement," but again I had to pay for shipping (another $25). Between the two shipping costs, we basically paid twice for this product. I know, I know, when I found out that FedEx would charge me $50 to ship it, I should have just said forget it right then. But I just wanted my air fryer. This company and this product are horrible! I would have given them negative 10 stars if that had been possible! Be warned!

I loved this and I might of used it 2-3 times a month if that and it seriously only lasted a year. I kept it clean and everything and it still completely died in the process of using it yesterday. Not worth it in my opinion especially for completely dying within a year.

I purchased this air fryer on 03/06/2020 and literally six months later it just stopped working. On 09/06/2020 I used it to make my son some french fries and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary that day or even days prior to using it. When I tried to use it again that same day it just did not want to heat up. I contacted the corporate company and they gave me some tips on what to do but it is still not working. Unfortunately, I can't return it to my local sam's club and I threw away my receipt. I called Sam's Club to request a receipt and they say it takes 6-8 weeks and I can't even return it there I have to return it to the corporate company. So now I guess I will be in search of a new air fryer. I loved it but it only lasted 6 months? Not good.

Bought this one last Christmas, used it for a total of 6 times (mainly making chicken wings) and today it died on me. Plugged it in, just heard a beep and it went black. Nothing on screen. I moved it to different outlets to check, again, nothing. This air fryer is good if it's working, unfortunately, it's not. I checked its warranty info and could not believe this air fryer is warranty for 2 months. What a joke. You make a product that costs $100 and warranty for 2 months??? Perhaps, they know that their products are lasting for just 2 months. Lol. Thank goodness that it was backed by Sam's warranty so I got a full refund. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BRAND AGAIN. You have been warned.

I have a pad missing on the fryer basket and one that i think was destroyed by heat. I can't find a source that sells these pads. I called the phone number on the back of the paper work. That starts out with you on hold, then you get a lousy phone connection with an operator. The connection improves when you complain, but then your call gets dropped. They know how to make you not want to call back. I like using the fryer and it does a good job. I want to keep it. I just want the pads.

I bought this on January 4, last week it stopped working right in the middle of cooking some fries. I used it maybe on average of twice a week and it only lasted 4 months!! I called customer service and was told that they would replace it, but only if I shipped it back at my cost - $50!!! No thanks! I will not drop another $50 to get a replacement that will likely not last 6 months! Steer clear of this brand!

When it works it is great, but a lot of the time the heater doesn't turn on or the fan doesn't get up to full speed. It is very avvoying. The basket has an insert that is just set in the bottom so if you want to dump out your fried food it come flopping out on top. The 7 qt designation is a joke since if you fill the basket none of the food will get crisp, you can really only have a single layer on the bottom. When the stars align and this thing works as it is supposed to (and you only put one layer of food in the bottom) it is great, I plan to buy another "air fryer", but not this brand.

I purchased this as a gift for a family member. I cannot rate it as I have not used it. I have not heard any complaints about it so that's a good sign. The ordering was quick and easy and delivery was fast an on time. From a giver's perspective, it doesn't get any better than that.

I purchased this product and it does cook food from frozen quickly..I have cooked chicken,pork, steak and chicken wings mainly. I have hand washed with wash cloth since I have had it. The Teflon or whatever it is coated with is coming off. Found out that there is just a 90 day warranty you would expect it to be durable for one person use for quite a while, disappointed in the Teflon coming off pampering it after every use. Maybe if I would have used it more it would have come off quicker but don't think it would have during warranty.
