They do promise that it will keep the beverage hot for longer although that was not my experience, I did not find that a hindering factor in the rating of these cups.

I love that they’re double insulated and keep my coffee warm (or cold brew COLD) so that I still get a refreshing sip in between meetings with students. They’re super cute and make my life 20x easier :)

The cups are made of sturdy recyclable material. I used them to take tea to work on a cold fall day and did not notice any spillage. The cup kept my drink hot for a reasonable amount of time. The only con is that eventhough they are recyclable, I know many users will just through them in the trash.

I’m not sure that would be for so many nonreusable cups as that could get costly, but overall I liked this product .
