The cup keeps drinks warm for awhile- but they still cool down. I did not feel like I needed to rush through my drink. The cover is secure but I feel like I have to be a little forceful when putting it on. This can prove tricky since you’re dealing with hot beverages. I have brought these in the car and had no leakage. Great option for a disposable travel cup.
