If you like the real kolbasi from your town German / Polish butcher, Kiolbassa Beef Sausage is the next best thing. The flavor is absolutely wonderful. I'm an old school Slavic, so I eat them with pickled beets and pickled eggs. They're a true value, both kinds are great the regular and the JALAPEÑO

Great taste

These are so good, they are the only sausages I will buy now. The cheaper varieties have an over-processed texture and rely heavily on salt and fat for flavor. Kiolbassa sausage tastes like real food and has a very nice "bite". They are also free of MSG and gluten, so they are a good fit if you cook for people with these sensitivities.

I’m Former Executive chef the product is basically ok. The casing is good quality. The grind of the meat is a little fine. I’d like it a little course. The sodium content is too high. Your consumers can adjust that in their preparation all in all well season not bad.

Great flavor

First time purchase and most likely the last. The casings on these sausages are tough as leather. I understand they are fully cooked and after reading other reviews, took care to only heat the sausages and not over cook them. The casings are inedible. I removed the casings from the remaining sausages and I found them to be really greasy but the taste was not bad. Labor intensive food preparation is not my thing so no more Kiolbassa for me.

The casing on these are too tough to bite into. " I should have read the reviews" but who would have thought that you could not bite into it. How are you supposed to eat them? I just threw $14.?? away. Don't know how they expect anybody to eat them.

Great taste with a good snap. Super juicy and just the right amount of smoky flavor. I'd say these are even better enjoyed by themselves without a bun if you really want to enjoy the complexity. The price comes out to about a buck a sausage, which is a bit much, but overall worth it.

These are interesting. For months they called out to me as I passed by their shelf. I finally bought the jalapeno version. I didn't know what to do with them. I lighted roasted one on the grill. I threw it in a roll. I found it hard to eat in sandwich form due to the tough casing, I squished the bread a lot and made a mess of the roll. I think you would need a a more robust roll, like fresh Italian or French bread. I've tried them in other applications and I can't really find a definitive place for them. My family is not thrilled with them. They are not like Italian pork sausage. They are not like kielbasa. But they are good in a strange way. I guess they taste like smoked beef, lol. I end up just grilling them and eating them plain with a little side of potatoes, vegetables or rice. I continue to buy them for myself. I wrap them individually and they stay in great condition in the freezer, ready for a quick meal. I have tried both the plain and jalapeno. By far, I prefer the hot ones. You do get grease dripping out of these when you grill, but they are not full of visible fat chunks like Italian sausage.

Flavor was good but the skin was so tough we couldn’t chew it. Also, they were so greasy. Tried cooking some, then tried frying some, & then grilling some. Even on low heat, there was so much grease the grill was in flames. Had to turn off the gas & throw them out.
