Not quite sure how to eat these. We tried grilling and under the broiler. They end up tough and chewy but the casing doesn't want to come off without destroying the sausage. Sausage making seems to be a lost art because these are nothing like the ones we had a few years ago.

Great taste with a good snap. Super juicy and just the right amount of smoky flavor. I'd say these are even better enjoyed by themselves without a bun if you really want to enjoy the complexity. The price comes out to about a buck a sausage, which is a bit much, but overall worth it.

They taste good. I agree with another reviewer that the skin is thick. However, what disappointed me was there with almost each bite, I bit down on small bone chips. I can’t finish the pack due to this. I have never had that issue with the name brand product.

Really nice smoked flavor that you don't get in the supermarket brands and no fat globs, but, like many other reviews have complained, the skin is pretty tough. Young children or older folks could have a problem chewing this. Not sure I will buy this again due to the tough casing.

The negative reviews here have me baffled. I tried this as a sample in-store and loved it! I bought a package and the family loved it - young kids and the adults. We will be buying it regularly. It does use natural casing, but we didn’t think it was tough. I cooked it on our Blackstone until hot and lightly browned. It was juicy and flavorful.

Flavor was good but the skin was so tough we couldn’t chew it. Also, they were so greasy. Tried cooking some, then tried frying some, & then grilling some. Even on low heat, there was so much grease the grill was in flames. Had to turn off the gas & throw them out.
