We like this bread and purchase it often, but it is not as good as it used to be! The texture is not as dense, and it does not seem as much like English muffin bread as it used to.

This bread tastes like home made bread more than any other commercial baked white bread out there. I use it for toasting and sandwiches every day. Consistently high in quality though occasionally there will be a break in the middle of a slice. I can accept that. Love the texture, too.

Getting English muffins can be tough (too often out of stock), so I tried Country Hearth's toasting English muffin bread. Way too sweet, and too soft (crushes too easily when trying to spready jam or peanut butter). This is a bit less sweet, so I prefer its flavor, but it is still soft. An egg sandwich with this toasting bread is a bit of a mess: the bread slices break or smoosh too easily. Going back to regular pre-sliced English muffins (when I can get them).

I've always bought this. Have loved it. I think the recipe may have changed. Not as good.
