I bought this for my husband because he wanted a toolbox style box that was tall enough to hold wd40, fix a flat, spray adhesive and other mechanical/fix it sprays and oils or whatever it is guys buy so it was all in one place. This was perfect and even has a hole so you can put a lock on it to keep potential poison hazards away from kids with sticky fingers that like to get into things.

Good overall but not as sturdy as previous ones from years ago

The item was very well made and just about what I wanted. But it was a bit to big for the little space I have. I returned it to the store using the online return option. Thats great. Its so convenient and easy to use. I replaced the file box with a smaller box I found at the store when I returned the item

Just what I've been looking for & at a great price. After using it a few days, the latch to the main section knocks the other latch open when you open/close it most of the time. Design flaw. I am planning to keep mine, tho.

The box overall is very clunky and clumsy. the lid has lid that can be opened - i think to keep paper clips or small items in it? the problem is that it flies open very easily so when you open the lid, everything falls out. I'm not sure why it was designed this way or it's purpose is but it's always flying open when I open the lid. Also, when the top lid is opened all the way, it makes a loud noise when it's closed. The latch is also very clunky. Overall, I am not happy with my purchase but I'm keeping it anyway. I just keep my work files in it with the box open and leave it that way. I do not recommend this product as to the poor design.

I have been buying this type (not brand) of file boxes for about 15 years. Every year I buy one. The last three or so years, the quality has steadily declined. I tried to buy a file box in the store, but six out of the six that were on the shelf were already broken. How does that happen. I ordered this one and it did take quite a while to arrive.... It is pretty flimsy compared to the older ones, and the tabs on the folders hit the lid when you try to close it. (too bad they put that stupid tray on the top.) Also the little rails on the sides that are supposed to hold the hanging files are so rough that the files will not really slide at all. They fall off the rails instead. (Don't even get me started on the quality of these shabby new file folders....) Overall, it will work as long as it doesn't crack, but I sure do miss the old ones.

Purchased 3 of these. Overall, no better than meh …the container is good the lid will not stay closed and everything stills out. Ugh. Come on Sam”s!!!

It's flimsy, doesn't latch, and the file folders that you are meant to put in it won't slide, they fall of what is supposed to be the rails. I bought it because I needed a third one. the ones I purchases abou 18 months ago actually are 100 times better than this one. The lid came cracked, the "latch" wont hold the lid shut, no matter how much you try to get it to work. You'd essentialy have to have a padlock to keep your important things inside. I don't know what you'd use instead, but don't buy this one. Its a waste of your money, and your time.

This is a disaster, the top lid is useless. If you put any weight in it beyond a pen or pencil, it will fall off the box, the hinges will not support ANY weight. The opening/latch interferes with the top cover to the storage lid and opens with the latch causing the pen or pencil to fall out when you open the lid. The box itself is too small to hold folders with manila folders, it crushes to manila folder tops. I'm now worried that the carry handle will fail and everything will fall out. Pure trash, poorly designed.

The size is fine, but this is a very poor quality carrier. The lid falls off and needs to be snapped on with every open. The hinge needs to be redesigned so it does not fall off. Also, the top organizer should close better. Awful product!
