Not my fist choice

I thought this coffee had an odd taste. It was thin and watery. I received it with my keurig when I bought it and was disappointed that I received so many of them. I prefer a more balanced flavor. Considering it was watery, it still had an acidic overlay. And you can taste the fruity tones.

Strong Tangy Coffee

I purchased this coffee because it said it was a light roast coffee and the description says "this coffee starts sweetly and quietly in the mouth and leaves you with fruity, nutty hints after each sip." BEWARE this part of the description is WRONG. When i received the coffee, it read on the box "bright and TANGY" no where in this desciption does it say it's tangy. I then brewed the coffee and tasted it, it did not "start sweeetly and quietly". The strong tangy taste made my taste buds want to scream. I am a black coffee drinker. Do not buy this product if you drink your coffee black.

Ok

I've tried it in the morning, in the afternoon and evening. But I don't think there's a perfect 'time' to drink this coffee. No matter when I drink it, it leaves me with a horrid aftertaste. I have to drink something else. A have to drink another kind right afterwards to get rid of the taste. Not that more coffee is a problem, but it's the thought... Not a fan of this coffee.

Just like the description: LIGHT!!

I am in search of a very fruity coffee and after reading this description, thought this may be it. I must've ignored the "LIGHT ROAST" in the name. It is light alright! I tried 8 ounce. Then then 6 ounce. Then FOUR OUNCES OF WATER. Still too light for me. It does have a mild, fruity finish so if light roast is for you, you'll probably like this. I prefer coffee that smacks me in the mouth.

Drinkable if You Want the Caffein

I did not care for this coffee. The flavor was distinctively . . . off. It's hard to describe and might be a personal preference thing. It certainly didn't have any of the citrus, nut, or floral tones promised in the description. It tasted more like bark. But not the worst bark you've ever had. Drinkable bark. My boyfriend felt that it was drinkable but nothing special and that there simply wasn't enough flavor, but that he could drink it on mornings when he needed the extra jolt of caffein that light roast coffees offer. We were disappointed since we've loved other Green Mountain brews.

# 1 Morning Coffee

When I add a little non-fat milk to Caribou morning blend,it is like buying an latte at a coffee shop...now I am saving money with my new Keurig. I first discovered Caribou Coffee in the Minneapolis, MN Airport & looked so forward when I would arrive at the terminal twice a year. Now I can enjoy Caribou Coffee every morning and evening.

The best breakfast blend!

This is a very smooth, delicious mild blend. It's not bitter so for me, it requires no sugar (just the barest drop of creamer) and it's absolutely wonderful. I, too, wish it was sold in the 80 count boxes because I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I start my day with this blend, and even my husband who usually drinks Jet Fuel and extra bold blends enjoys this particular blend black.

Mellow, smooth, perfect!

This is one of my go to blends. Morning blend is not a dark or bold coffee by any means, but instead a smooth and easy drinking cup every time. It's pleasant, mild, and has a great flavor with no acidity or bitterness at all. Strong coffee lovers can skip this one but when I want something smooth, this is my go to.

Delightfully Different

I find most light roasts are watery in flavor and cant drink them. I prefer medium dark to dark roasts. Taste is closer to a medium roast. Mildly bright and slightly tangy is the way I would describe it. I was delightfully surprised with the stronger flavor of this coffee and is one I keep on hand.

One of the few "light" blends I prefer

*Used this in my Keurig 2.0* From way back in my beginning introduction to the Keurig I tried this coffee. Caribou's Daybreak Morning Blend is marketed as a middle ground between medium and light roast but truly is a lighter than normal roast. I personally prefer a medium to dark roasted coffee but in the case of this particular product I enjoy it because the blend is an even subtle mix that finishes nice and makes for a nice introduction to my day.
