Too light; a bit bitter; won't buy again

My spouse and I were both extremely disappointed with this blend. The aroma is fine--not amazing, but fine--but the only flavor it has is the aftertaste, which is bitter and slightly sour. It also has a light, almost slippery feel in your mouth. It is one of the few rainforest alliance/fair trade options available locally, but we will not be buying it again.

PERFECT MORNING BLEND!

I am re-ordering the Caribou Daybreak blend for the third time. I used to enjoy the brand when I visited relatives in Minnesota. Now it is my favorite coffee of all time. It has no bitterness, it light-mild to medium roast. Perfect for my taste buds. Really cannot compare this to any other brand, it's that much of a standout choice!!!

Great smooth cup

My regular k-cups tend to be extra bold, particularely Sumatras and Konas. I find this blend to favourably compare, with a little extra smoothness for that first cup. Not at all watery, and a look at the box tells you why. The coffee net weight is equal to other brands extra bolds. You therefore experience full body and caffiene in a easy drinking morning blend.

Literally the best coffee

This is my favorite kind of coffee. I always order off of this website, and I never get fewer than 48 pods of this coffee in my order. I drink it nearly every day. It's perfectly balanced, not too acidic or too bitter, has a delightfully rich taste, and is just overall wonderful.

Exceptional Brew

Average Joe sums it up. I enjoy a good cup of coffee. I have a sensitive stomach and this brew is not too strong like most others but still has an excellent aeroma and taste. I've finally found my perfect brew to complement my EXCELLENT Keurig Brewer!!! : )

Is it morning yet?

This is my first grab from my choices every time, I love the smell of this brew. The roast is light but full enough to tolerate cream and sugar and still shine. Nice crisp finish, no aftertaste. Best sipped to enjoy. The only flavor that I will drink more than 1 cup at a time. Great mild morning coffee, esp. if you prefer to drink it black.

Light Roasted Goodness

The Keurig website doesn't give this information, but these Caribou Daybreak claim to have .41 oz of coffee per K-cup. The Starbucks Veranda have .42 oz each. You would think that wouldn't matter at all. But comparing the two out of the box, there is a lot more coffee in the Starbucks. The brewed Caribou Daybreak coffee is a very good light roast. I like it a lot. However, the Keurig 8 ounce setting results in a more watery brew than the same setting with the Starbucks K-cups. I don't think they stand up to half-and-half well. I have no idea if .01 oz difference is the cause of it being weaker, or whether the Caribou have less than they claim. I'll have to try other brands to find out.

Best morning coffee I've ever had!

Since I tried this coffee, I never start my day without a cup or 2 (or more)! It is hands down the smoothest, most enjoyable coffee first thing in the morning - or anytime. Have just ordered some other Caribou blends because I was so impressed by this one!

Best breakfast blend ever!

Normally I shy away from the lighter "breakfast" blends because frankly, they taste like watered down coffee to me. This Caribou product is the exception, however. Very flavorful, quite close to a medium body and a wonderful aroma. This one is my absolute favorite in it's class. I love it! All Caribou products are pretty hard to beat!

I'll add to that insipid bark...

I got my laugh for the day reading some of these reviews. Just had to say that. Insipid...awful...bark. People can be creative. My two cents: boiled leather. Now I haven't had the opportunity to taste boiled leather, but I'd venture to guess it tastes like this coffee. Here at work, the last person that ordered coffee just got those rated as "popular" or said eeny meeny miney mo, catch a coffee... Now that I'm ordering coffee, I ask if anyone has preferences and also read the reviews.Yeah it takes me a day of work to complete the task--or two days when the website inevitably screws up. WEBPAGE EXPIRED. Yeah that one--usually not good news. So I had to call and hope that somehow the Keurig rep had my cart somewhere in there. NOPE. Anyway, this is for reviews isn't it...The universal brands here are Caribou (the regular green one) and Nemman's Extra Bold. Thank goodness they come in the 80 ct box. It makes it nice for me because I can order coffees to sample, and choose the best ones to order for home. Heh heh--I also can get the ones I like at work. Hey, It's not good when you order a box of coffee and hate it. My go to is Van Houtte French Roast. Delicious ---like fine restaurant coffee. But some people here like this one, so I order it. I agree with other reviewers that you can like a coffee a lot, then order three boxes more, and it isn't the same.I also like the Dark Magic on a large mug. Okay, I'm going on. To make a long story short---awful, insipid boiled leather bark...
