As said many times before, good tires and a bit tough getting the bead to set. I used the ratchet strap as many others did but used an air chuck and just put the threaded end over the valve stem and hooked it up to the air hose. Finally got enough air into the tire fast enough to get the bead to seat. About 2 hours on the first one and 5 minutes on the second one.

Bought 2 at $17.28 each to replace the front tires on my 23 year old rider. One tire mounted easy the other took a bit of innovation. Almost all tire manufactures will compress small tires to ship to retailer's warehouses. My solution for the difficult tire was to put the slow leaking tire tube from the old tire into the unmounted tire, fill it full of air and let it set in the sun. This allowed the new tire to uncompress. Then remove the old tube and mount the new tire on the rim. The tire bead set rather easily. Other helpful items...... New valve stems, soapy water, mini tire changer mounted on work bench, and an air compressor.. I haven't mowed with them yet but they seem to be holding air.

Item was listed as Greenball tire but item received was another no-name tire and the tread design was not as pictured. Tread design on tires received is similar to a Carlisle tire. That being said, the tires seem to be of good quality and were fairly easy to mount. Tire size and ply rating were as stated. I tried to find these tires locally but nobody had them in stock. I ordered them Monday evening and received them Friday Morning so delivery was quick. So far I'm very satisfied with the tires. How well they hold up is a question.

I tried for three days to get this deformed piece of junk to fit on the rim and inflate. Hot water soaks, sun bathing and muscle. It is going back to Walmart tomorrow. Gonna buy a real tire somewhere else. When I picked it up I thought it was pretty deformed and that I might have trouble-----but never imagined it would be near IMPOSSIBLE. Had enough !!!!

Good quality product made in Indonesia. Only order one at a time!!!! They come shrink wrapped from warehouse. If ordering 2 they smash them together distorting tire. Was able to mount 1 of 2 in first order and 1 of 2 in second order. And yes, I let sit in sun for 3 days and packed with paper to reform. Had to order the replacements for other 2 distorted tires. Ordered replacement 1 at a time and wow what a difference. I ran an auto shop for 12 years, so I am not a newbie. Valve stems replacement are Tr413(garden tractor, go cart, golf cart, 4 wheeler etc). Car valve stems are different size. I also use xtra seal bead sealer on stem and rim when installing. This is not a simple job, take extreme caution. Hopefully this review helps.

Bought two of these tires for my 2012 Craftsman Lawn Tractor. The original two front tires just did not last long. After using the tires for two seasons. I see no wear on them. Changed the tires myself was easy and took a little muscling, but was not that hard to do. Keep in mind not to gouge or scratch the rim surface or you will cause air leakage.

Solid tire at low price. As noted in other reviews, the tires came very compressed; however, we set the bead on the rim with a little flammable aerosol and flame and they set easily. We first attempted to set the bead by tightening a ratchet strap around the circumference of the tire, but they were so compressed that it would still not get enough of a seal to set the bead on the rim.

Good tread, great price. More difficult putting on than removing the old. Had to breakdown, call it a day with hand tools and buy a mini tire changer (HF, $42) to get them on the wheel. Made the the job a breeze (5min/tire). Getting them to bead was another story. They aren't car tires and are packaged flat/smoothed for shipping. Had to use cargo straps in the edge of the tread on each side to get it to squoosh enough of a seal to inflate to get it to bead. All in all happy with thhe product and purchase.
