The daytime Theraflu is nice because it doesn't create an ounce of drowsiness and will help you make the best of what you can during the day. I also like that I can take this with other medications although not Tylenol. This contains acetaminophen so keep an eye on that. Those nights where you are miserable and think that if you could just sleep you would be healed in no time are truly the worst and the Theraflu nighttime powder will help you do just that. This stuff does not mess around. Don't plan on drinking this and then planning on doing anything except having a really nice deep sleep. I got drowsy and had no problem taking this even with a severe cold with a sore throat that would not stop. I woke up after with no side effects. This product makes being sick a shorter and more bearable process. If you have to be sick, you might as well get yourself something that will help you get back on your feet.

I heated up and drank some Theraflu and managed to finish an important work day. When my toddler came down with similar symptoms, we found that she had Flu type A. I have relied on Theraflu for years, and it always provides relief even on my sickest days. I really like the lemon flavor added to the tea in both packets. It makes it taste good and is nice to sip on while hot. The powder dissolves quickly in the water just by stirring it. It's very soothing and relieves my congestion. The daytime works great at relieving my symptoms and help me feel better without making me sleepy. At night it helps me to sleep better, so I'm not up all night congested or coughing, and I am able to get the rest my body needs. It works much better than other cold products I've tried. I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shortly after receiving my Theraflu Sample packets, I actually caught a cold and was able to test and review the product thoroughly. I liked that the sample pack contained both daytime and nighttime packets. I was able to try them both. The daytime was used first thing in the morning and just one packet helped me to get through the day. It was very easy to prepare and the warm honey lemon fluid soothed my irritated throat and helped to lessen my cough and open my nasal passages. The taste was tolerable but I added about a teaspoon of honey and that made it a little better. I drank it all within the recommended 15 minutes and then I sat back and let it work for me. Just before bed, I repeated the process only I used the nighttime packet. The taste was slightly different than the daytime, but again, I added a little honey. It did help me to drift off to sleep and I was able to sleep all night. It kept my cough at bay throughout the night. I didn't feel drowsy that morning. I had never tried theraflu in the past, but I will definitely use this product again, no matter the cost. I will also recommend it to others. One suggestion I have is to maybe have a smaller multi pack, with maybe 3 of each instead of 6. I'm just afraid the product may expire before all packets are used since I don't get sick very often.
