I have an 18-foot high ceiling so I had to have 2 electricians install it and add an extra length of chain. GREAT BUY.

This chandelier looks great in our dining room - really updates the look. However, after going through the whole process of installing this fixture and reconnecting it to the existing three way dimmer switch, I found that this light fixture in fact is not dimmable. But the website description clearly states 'compatible with all in-wall dimmers.' Please fix this error.

I have been used to the older, gold, vintage-looking chandeliers and this one is a complete 180 degree separation from that. It really does change the look of the entire room you install it in. Installation was fairly easy, we took down the old-style chandelier we had in our dining room and used the same electrical setup for this one. One thing I will say is that the bulbs included were a bit bright for our tastes, but that may not be the same for everyone. Changing them out for dimmer ones would be very easy for just about anyone though. It feels sturdy and durable (as does the hardware included for installation) without being too heavy or bulky.

The base is well made and has a really nice finish (brushed nickel). Assembly and Installation were straightforward and on the easier side as I have installed many light fixtures previously. Cutting the chain to the correct length is the most difficult part. When illuminated, the bulbs give a decorative light that looks nice through the glass surround. I used this over the dining room table a with a dimmer switch and everyone loves it.
