Both my husband and I were having back/neck issues and trouble sleeping but didn’t make the connection. After getting this mattress that all changed! I was afraid the mattress was going to be too firm and for the first couple of nights it did feel that way. Around the third night of sleeping on it though it was perfect! It has the right amount of firmness that my back and neck needs! I sleep soundly now and my back and neck aren’t achy anymore. My husband doesn’t toss and turn all night either! If only we had gotten this mattress sooner!!

The mattress is more than 12 inches deep with the plush, soft top. I have been thrilled at the good restful sleep I have had with this mattress, and it has been the best thing for my back. Absolutely would purchase this mattress again and definitely recommend it for anyone that loves super firm support for sleeping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After sleeping on the mattress for over a week I have to say this mattress takes some getting used to in how firm it is. It has virtually no give when you get on to it. The first couple nights I didn't sleep too well, since then my body has gotten used to it and I have been sleeping a lot better. It is a very tall mattress but still works with regular sheets. You will barely notice any movement from your partner with this mattress which is great and a big change from my prior mattress. The mattress itself looks and feels very high quality and looks like it will last a long time. If you buy a extra firm model just make sure you and your partner really want your mattress to be very firm and not sink into it at all. I ended up purchasing a mattress topper for it because my wife doesn't like the firmness as much as I do. Overall I would recommend this Beautyrest though.

My biggest complaint about the firm mattresses I've tried is that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor! But the Beautyrest mattress is different, it's firm but also cozy! I can lay on it and feel comfortable and that makes a huge difference to me. I definitely feel the support! My back is a fan!

I got a hybrid that was a bit more firm and every night I'd toss and turn. I got this extra firm mattress to see if it would help and I sleep through the night now. I don't feel my partner when he moves around and the sheets never pull up off the bed, probably because it is so firm that there isn't much movement. So far it is holding up shape really well.

My partner and I upgraded from a queen bed to a king and have enjoyed the extra room (my dog has appreciated it as well :) This mattress is really quite firm. It was slightly firmer than I like, so I added a thin mattress topper and it has been perfect. The mattress is also very thick. Make sure you get sheets that fit a thicker mattress. I also got Beautyrest box springs with this mattress. We tried putting them on top of our 10" bed frame and it ended up being too tall for us. If you use the box spring and mattress, make sure you have a very very short frame. Overall I am very happy with the mattress and am glad that I finally upgraded to a Beautyrest.
