We had been needing a new bed for a long time, we just couldn't afford it. This mattress s PERFECT for both of us since we both have neck and back issues. Highly recommended, as it provides me with the firm support that I want. Its firm but has a small cushion topper that gives the required comfort and the best part is movement on one side of mattress is not felt on the other side.

This mattress is firm but allows my bones to be cushioned. I cant remember when ive had a good night's sleep before this mattress. Firmer is better for me and I now know that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mattress and box spring for about 6 weeks and have used it everyday since it was delivered and it's a little too firm for me. So I added an egg crate topper and a pillow top mattress pad topper and that helped with the firmness. I believe this mattress is well made because the stitching is good. Also, my wife and I are larger size and it holds both of our weights well. My pets like it, they jump and roll around on it. Aside from being slightly more firm than I would like it's also pretty tall. I'm about 5'5" and it sits at my waist line. All in all it's a good mattress, but firm, a little too tall for me, but it's made well and if you prefer a firmer mattress it will work well for you.

I had to switch to a better quality mattress and extra firm becuase my old soft mattress was causing my back to hurt. No more tossing in my sleep. My new mattress is very comfortable. It does not feel hard, it is soft and I have comfortable movement in the bed. I wasn't sure how I would like extra firm but I am extremely pleased with my new mattress. I also think the quality of the brand is superior!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beauty Rest Silver is very firm. You’d think it wouldn’t be comfortable being as firm as it is, but it actually is! My back hasn’t hurt anywhere as near as much as it used to. I actually fall asleep quickly and wake up less frequently as I used to. If you have back issues, this is the mattress to get! It’s also very thick and higher off the ground, so it’s easier to get out of. I have this on my adjustable bed and it works perfectly.
