The mattress is hefty, you’re gonna need a few people to help you lift and haul the thing into the room. The material of the mattress feels great, not that I will raw dogging it. This is one of the best mattresses that I have ever owned. I’ve tried everything from memory foam, spring, latex; however this medium pillow top gave me one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while. The pillow top was super comfy and it gave most the right amount of support.

I toss and turn all night long and by morning im exhausted and in dire pain. The Beautyrest extra firm mattress has saved my back, my sanity and my self from going insane due to sleep deprivation. I cant explain how much comfort i tet out of my mattress now. I sleep all night and im not in any pain. I sleep well and wake up rested. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beautyrest Silver medium pillow top mattress is absolutely beautiful-the dark charcoal sides and white top with a slight grey checked pattern is almost too pretty to cover up with linens. The fabric feels durable, and is stitched securely-I see many years of use with the overall quality and construction. It's a very thick mattress so be sure to use deep pocket sheets so they don't pop off constantly. I also used a king size comforter so it would have sufficient overhang to meet the box spring and look more finished, I'm pretty picky with how my bed looks though. I chose to keep the box springs for additional height even though the mattress can be used without it. The first thing I noticed is how solid this mattress is, as if one complete piece of construction matterial..and that's a good thing! Absolutely zero transfer of motion, no movement at all, and tested by numerous cat pounces and dog jumps lol. That alone I knew would help me sleep better ;) And sliding out of bed in the morning isn't a heart stopper anymore because this mattress has the edge to edge support so you don't drop down 6 inches sitting on the edge...unlike my other. The first few nights were trial and error, I had to switch types of pillows a few times to get the proper head/neck height with how much I sunk into the amazingly lofty top. But once I figured out the perfect combination it was a sleeping on a cloud heaven! I used to toss and turn and wake up numerous times a night because of pressure point pain in my hip and knee, being a side sleeper doesn't leave to many choices with position shift, I am now sleeping through the night with no pains at all AND also no morning stiffness in my back or neck. Enough support but still feels soft if that makes sense? The best part I think is that I no longer wake up with damp linens from night sweats either, I don't know the fancy logistics of the cooling technology but it sure does work- I'll admit I was skeptical. Truly wonderful what this mattress has done for my sleep cycle :)

So far, I have little to no back and hip pain after sleeping 2 nights on this mattress. That’s fantastic!! However, the first night I was very hot and didn’t feel that the mattress was “cooling” at all, despite the brutal cold outside and the 64 degree temp in the house. Last night I had the furnace turned down to 64, turned on the overhead fan to cool me and slept better. But does the mattress really have a cooling element? It didn’t seem like it the first night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We honestly got this mattress for a guest bed. We don't have a lot of room but didn't want to compromise comfort. Boy did we luck up with this mattress. The queen size is more than big enough for an adult couple or several small kids. Yet it is small enough to store in the basement when not in use. We don't have an extra bedroom so we paired this with a slat base system thus the need to store away when not in use. This worked out great for our needs and is soooo much more comfortable than anything else we had to offer. Mattress is plush but not too squishy and comes in at about 12 inches in height. My in-laws were the first to try it and they had nothing but rave reviews. They did not wake up with sore backs like they normally do with their bed. Tried it myself and I want to swap out our king for this one. Love the built-in handles for ease lifting and transporting. Just know that cheaper bedding will not fit this mattress. I mean a queen size mattress cover and pad fit but the sheets did not. Minor complaint since this is a guest bed but wanted to put that out there. To me, that's a good thing because it means the mattress is thick. Love this beauty and can't recommend enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beauty Rest Silver is very firm. You’d think it wouldn’t be comfortable being as firm as it is, but it actually is! My back hasn’t hurt anywhere as near as much as it used to. I actually fall asleep quickly and wake up less frequently as I used to. If you have back issues, this is the mattress to get! It’s also very thick and higher off the ground, so it’s easier to get out of. I have this on my adjustable bed and it works perfectly.

The pillow top gives you the extra comfort and softness. The mattress is nice and tall so i did not need to use my box spring, my regular sheets fit on the mattress with no problem as well as a mattress protector. Overall it is a great mattress that give you a good night's sleep. Perfect for any type of sleeper.

However, this mattress is still very comfortable and offered me a relaxing nights sleep. If you like a firm mattress you should give this one a try.
