My partner and I upgraded from a queen bed to a king and have enjoyed the extra room (my dog has appreciated it as well :) This mattress is really quite firm. It was slightly firmer than I like, so I added a thin mattress topper and it has been perfect. The mattress is also very thick. Make sure you get sheets that fit a thicker mattress. I also got Beautyrest box springs with this mattress. We tried putting them on top of our 10" bed frame and it ended up being too tall for us. If you use the box spring and mattress, make sure you have a very very short frame. Overall I am very happy with the mattress and am glad that I finally upgraded to a Beautyrest.

I am a huge fan of the additional pillow top gives extra comfort in my opinion. The pattern on this mattress is pretty and I like how it is not white like traditional mattresses. Some great features I like about this mattress is that it’s hypoallergenic, breathable, cooling and has motion isolation. This mattress has the right firmness and gives me a great good night’s sleep! We have the queen size mattress which it is a good size for me and my husband. This bed said plush but I feel like it’s not so plush, it’s more on the firmer side. My husband loves the firmness, I just wish it was a little more plush or fluffy but it’s still really comfortable. Overall it’s really nice and we have been getting a good nights sleep!

I prefer mattresses that have a “pillow-type” top as otherwise I feel sore. The good things about this mattress is it prevents movement by your partner from waking you, and it holds it shape very well. Overall, if you prefer a firm mattress this the one for you with all the quality you would expect from Beauty Rest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mattress and box spring for about 6 weeks and have used it everyday since it was delivered and it's a little too firm for me. So I added an egg crate topper and a pillow top mattress pad topper and that helped with the firmness. I believe this mattress is well made because the stitching is good. Also, my wife and I are larger size and it holds both of our weights well. My pets like it, they jump and roll around on it. Aside from being slightly more firm than I would like it's also pretty tall. I'm about 5'5" and it sits at my waist line. All in all it's a good mattress, but firm, a little too tall for me, but it's made well and if you prefer a firmer mattress it will work well for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial reaction was that it was NOT a medium but rather a firm mattress. I was used to a foam top that immediately conformed to my body and was sure I wasn’t going to have a comfortable sleep. I was wrong! After a few nights of test sleeping, I discovered that it was firm, yet conforming and comfortable. I was getting restful sleeps and my usual morning stiffness was almost nonexistent. The memory foam layer was working to my advantage. It seems well constructed and the side handles make it easy to reposition, yet they retract to make them almost disappear. The one feature, which is quite important to me, is the layer that is supposed to move heat away from your body. I like the microbial aspect of it, but personally it does not provide enough of a cooling feature. I had hoped for more cooling relief than it provides, but because of the other features of the mattress are exceeding my expectations, I’ll look for more cooling relief with adding a possible extra pad, thus the 4-star rather than 5-star rating. I’m excited at the aspect of getting some good, restful sleeps for a long time to come.
