[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been testing this mattress for more than a week and my husband is happy because he has problems with his back and sleeping on this extra firm mattress has relieved his pain, in my case I am happy for my husband but it is not my favorite because I prefer medium mattresses but if you suffer from back problems this is definitely the option for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I really love about this mattress is that it has a very "plush" soft feeling, yet somehow, it's still very supportive. When I lay on it, there is no indentation where my body weight pushes the mattress down, like you'd normally have on a soft mattress or a memory foam. It's very supportive and still feels plush and cloud like to lay on. Supposedly, it has a "dynamic response memory foam" in it. If you have slept on memory foam before and didn't like the feel of it...this is nothing like your typical memory foam mattress. It does not give that same contour feeling where your body molds to the shape of the mattress. If that's what you're looking for, this might not be right for you. If you want a mattress that supports your body, yet still feels cozy and soft...it's great! I can't speak to the longevity of the mattress, but I know Beautyrest has a good reputation, so hopefully it'll last a long time. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good quality mattress and it is extra firm. I initially thought it would be too firm for us but it's actually nice. My husband prefers this level of firmness and discovered that it’s better for his posture and back. I find it a little too firm but I’m growing accustomed to it. If you struggle with mattresses that you start sinking into after a while, then this could be a good firmness level. Even for casual sitting it has been much better for my back. It is quite thick so it sits much higher on our platform frame compared to our old mattress. That’s the only thing I would change is to reduce the depth of the mattress.

This feels high quality to me and its truly is extra firm. This is built in a solid way and feels durable. I do not use boxsprings and this mattress is working great on my wooden bed frame. It did take me a couple days to get used to this mattress at first, but then I grew to love it more and more each day. This provides strong support due to it being extra firm. My body feels completely supported when lying down on this. Its very comfortable for me and I like the way it feels. This is one of the best mattresses I've ever slept on in my life. I highly recommend this if you are looking for an extra firm mattress. This mattress is comfortable while providing extra firm support.

The overall quality and firmness of this mattress is amazing. It is actually extra firm, so if you love your mattress very firm, this would be a great mattress for you. I think having a firm mattress is nice because it helps me sleep better at night and have such a great quality sleep. I hate waking up with a backache, and while I was sleeping on this mattress, I didn't have any issues with any pain. I actually work up very well rested. It's nice to actually be able to get a good night sleep and be well rested. What an amazing mattress this is. This mattress provides you with a great firmness, especially if that is what you're looking for in a mattress. I really love that you don't get woken up by your partner either. It offers a great low motion so that you shouldn't be able to feel when your partner moves. My partner seems to move a lot, so it's nice to have a mattress like this. I absolutely love the plush soft top as well. It's very soft and cushiony. It gives that great support while you are sleeping. This has been one of the best mattresses for keeping my back from aching. I love it! I certainly would recommend this mattress to anyone who loves a good firm mattress and wants better overall sleep. You'll wake up so refreshed and feeling great about your sleep. I really do enjoy this mattress. I'm so glad I was able to wake up feeling great. That's all I ever really want in a mattress, is to feel like you got a great nights sleep and you don't wake up with aches and pains anymore.

It did not have a pillow top, yet there was a plushness to it that made it feel like it was a pillow top. The overall size of the mattress is very tall, but it still fit our deep fitted sheets and mattress pad we already had. I do not awaken in the night when my partner moves around, nor vice versa. My only complaint would be the sides could use more support so if you sit on the site of the bed, it won't sink in as much. It keeps me cool at night, and doesn't seem to radiate heat as much as my old mattress. There also didn't seem to be an odor with this mattress as there have been with other new mattresses I've purchased in the past. I no longer wake up feeling sore and tired.

Upon ordering I don't think I realized how tall the mattress actually is, it's not a bad thing, but if you had or wanted to add an additional topper onto it you might have a hard time trying to find sheets that will fit over both. It does come with a built in pillow top, so I have not had a need for additional topper but just a mention.

I had great support for my back and plenty of plush comfort. Super comfortable. The quality is apparent in the tailoring. I set my mattress upon a boxspring so that it would be nice and high, just like I like them. This was a great, quality night’s sleep. I would definitely recommend.
