Installation is very straightforward (at least for me because I don't have a multi-story house) and everything worked as I had hoped. The app is not as intuitive as it could be but it does allow you to create nice effects easily. I particularly like the "shared" effects that other Govee users have created. I have the original version so be aware that if you want a "pure" white, you will want to get the upgraded models.

Just finished the installation a few days ago. We love them! My wife is thrilled with the brilliant colors while I am happy to never hang Christmas lights again. One of my favorite features is the ability to control each light individually, and the add effects like chase, fade, etc. Extremely flexible and customizable. The control app on the phone is great. The only thing that could improve is the clips. I chose not to use them. Too cumbersome while standing on a ladder 20 feet in the air.

These light are awesome so many different features. Light combination easy installation but if u have wood eves on your house I recommend using a staple gun as the 3m does not stick well on wood easy setup to connect on your phone.you can setup to turn on and off.

Great Light kit Opened up package everything that you need comes with the unit very easy to install my house has high roof line so I incorporated a lift installation was very easy set up was easy as well quality of the Kit seems very good everything works like it should. I was able to program time patterns so it comes on and off as I desire seven days a week I do actually use other govee products And they also are easy to add right into the app so I can keep all my plugs switches all together on my phone on one app.

The light display on our home is spectacular. We have received many nice compliments from friends, neighbors and people that have driven by. The app is easy to use and we do. We change them regularly, keeping the neighbors guessing. We have had several lights come unstuck, but mostly because the paint on the house wasn’t good in that spot. We then added more clips.

Love our lights!! I love all the different settings to change the colors. It's also cool that you can program them to go to music. We did that when we had guests arriving for a party. My only issues have been that some of them keep falling even though I cleaned the areas prior to hanging the lights. We are trying to figure out a solution to keep them up permanently (since that's the point). Also, I originally paired the lights with my phone, but when my bf tried to pair with his phone, he was successful; however, it unpaired me. We haven't figured out how to have both of our phones control the lights. If there's a way, please reach out. Overall, love the lights and am very very happy with my purchase.

lights work good but wish they had a longer cord from the last light to the outlet plug or extender like the permanent lights 2 come with. would be nice if it was listed that even though the connectors are the same they are not compatible with different models, but not the end of the world

Most incredible lights I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. Easy to install, very bright. Love that I can control them with my phone. I love the feature that allows me to see other peoples light shows and with the push of a button I can have the same setup. Best money I’ve ever spent on lights

It’s what our home needed. They go up like a piece of cake. Just remember the cables and power units and what not need to be out of the elements. It is a really cool application for your home and it’s so customizable. I really really like them. If you can spend the money I’d say it’s a phenomenal investment. No more hanging Christmas lights on my gutters!

We love the way the lights look and the amount of colors and themes you can choose from. They do not provide enough clips. They give you 3 per strand but they kept falling down and not sticking. Probably since it was cold out. We had to buy extras so we can put them on every light.
