I've always been a Toyo person. But when the XT first came out. I decided to try them. I really enjoy the awesome winter driving capabilities and how quiet they are through the entire life of the tread. Even with heavy oilfield use. The only time I've had a flat is from a nail. Great durability when you are drive the gravel roads doing Mach Jesus with a truck full of heavy equipment. I'm definitely going to put them on my two personal trucks when it comes time.

Having grown up in the tire business, I've been around Firestone along time. This new cross-terrain tire really intrigued me by it's tread design and mileage warranty. I bought LT275/70R18s and they have been a great ride with great performance off-road and on-road. The tires are not noisy as you might think from their design. The tires have a great ride and have great traction off road, in the snow, and great wet traction with great braking. The only problem I have with them is I didn't get the mileage out of them. I'm replacing them just shy of 30K. I rotated about every 5K and have maintained my pressures with towing and not towing. I would buy this tire again!

As an employee I did some research before purchase and I am very surprised by the result I found online these tires are superior to a lot of competitors in different factors a tire has to face head on as an A/T. These tires are magnificent, smooth, quite, and take on any terrain that's in the way!

Ad states "Kick up some dirt with the Firestone Destination X/T on- and off -road tires...you can depend on these tires to take you anywhere because tough terrains require an even tougher tire." Do let that fool you. The first time I took these tires off road, I had some minor chunking. The people I was with (all experienced off roaders) noted how my new tires were chunking in the Arizona sand. The next time I took them off road, they chunked a little more. This last trip, I was the only one to suffer any tire damage out of the three of us and was the only one running Firestone's. I had a front sidewall chunk that was almost to the plies and a pinhole in the sidewall that required a plug. Yes, you shouldn't plug a sidewall, but I had no choice as my rear tire also had a pinhole in the tread and I only had one spare with me. This was the first day of a seven-day trip. I ended up being towed up a couple of obstacles because the other people were afraid of me blowing another tire. We were saving my spare for the road trip home. Granted I am running LT275/55/20 E tires at full air pressure due to the small sidewall, but I expected more from these tires. Very disappointed in a premium tire that I will have to replace at least two of them with less than 5,000 miles on them. I'm thinking of just switching brands and replacing all five tires. On road, they were great. A little sidewall flex in winding mountains but nothing bad. Quiet. Good grip. We've had record lack of rain in the 6 months that I've had the tires, so I don't really have much of an opinion on wet handling. The one time it did rain, they handled it fine. I really thought I made a good choice as Firestone is a premium tire manufacture and these weren't cheap. Too bad that I'll probably dump them as only two of the five tires I could even hope to get a couple of bucks for.

I purchased these after doing a lot of research. My previous tire brand was terrible, I had to get 2 sets as the first set dry rotted prematurely after a few months. I opted for the Destination X/T because they were highly top rated on every reputable source, I have loved these tires since having them installed. Purchased Destination X/Ts to replace the original Goodyear Wranglers. The difference in road performance between the two is night and day. Regardless of weather conditions, and in Wisconsin that means rain, sleet, snow, and ice, the XTs perform flawlessly. They really grab the road when Mother Nature decides it's time for weather! They have a touch more road noise than the AT/2s we have on our other vehicle, but they are actually a low noise tire. Lastly, the XTs have somewhat of an aggressive look to them, but not over-the-top. They actually look really cool! So happy with my X/Ts and highly recommend them!!!!

Just wanted to say Firestone crew did an awesome job In a short time frame. While waiting for my vehicle they had some upset customers that don't understand the process of how the work is done. But the staff handled it great and that make me want to come back for future purchases. I Switched to the Firestone Destination XT tires and have been well pleased. They have a quite comfortable ride for a tire with this much traction in wet muddy conditions . I am looking forward to a good snow so I can see how they preform in winter conditions. I feel I have made an excellent choice by selecting Firestone tires.

My truck came with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. I had a sidewall blowout after 25k miles. I recently bought Firestone Destination X/T replacements. Immediately I noticed a difference. They are very smooth, quiet tires. In about a week, I've put 700 miles on them and I've got nothing but good things to say about them. I haven't gone off road yet or driven in rain, but these are great tires

After I drove 15k on these tires, they were completely worn out, I didn't even expect that this could happen, yes, sometimes they helped on off-road, yes, they could dig out, but 15k and completely naked, THIS IS SOME KIND OF HORROR, I don't recommend it
