I wasn't sure what to expect from this shampoo because I had never tried it before. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm still on the fence about it. It seems to get my hair clean, but after rinsing it out, my hair would feel odd. I'm not even quite sure how to describe it; I think it feels quite rough and very tangled, even when I haven't done anything that would cause tangles. I found this was somewhat mitigated by using the 5 in 1 Conditioner after shampooing, but I still didn't love the texture of my hair when using this shampoo. I've used this shampoo for a few weeks now. Wow I can tell a difference. My hair is less tangled getting out of the shower. I can brush it with just a few strokes to get the tangles out. I liked the Dove 5 in 1 shampoo. Was a good enough shampoo that I can reach for. Not too many suds, I guess that's due to a different type of sulfate? I'd like manufacturers to figure out how to use better cleaning ingredients in these items. I found that this may be too drying for me, maybe not an everyday shampoo at all. The shampoo was easy to lather and it had a fresh scent. I like the pump on the bottle making it easier to use. My hair was noticeably smooth and shiny after drying it. I will definitely be looking into more dove hair products in the future.
