We ordered our split king pro-adapt medium hybrid mattress and adjustable base from a local distributor of tempurpedic products. The delayed delivery was over 4 weeks. We were told to expect the delivery the following week, however the wait time was over 4 weeks. We were never informed of the delay. and we did not get any communication from anyone about the delay. This delay and lack of communication was very disappointing . The mattress was set by our delivery person and that process was fine. He showed us how to use the remotes and explained the adjustable base to us. The biggest problem was the smell from the bed. After approximately 3 days my husband stated waking up with a head ache and dizziness. The longer he was out of bed the better his headache became. I did not have this problem, however the smell is very strong and irritating. We have been airing the bed daily and trying to tolerate the smell. We have been sleeping on the bed about 2 weeks. The mattress definitely feels much different than a traditional mattress. When I get into bed, I feel like I am sinking into the mattress and it seems to be hard to roll over during the night. My husband does not complain about this issue. Overall, the mattress is ok. For the price that we paid, I was expecting to fall in love with the bed, but I did not. My husband seems satisfied and states he is sleeping better. So for us, I don't think we would purchases this product again. We are still within the 90 day return window and have not decided if we will return. We also considered a sleep number bed.

The mattress is very firm and has not been anything like the comfortable mattress we tried in the store. 3 weeks in. Being that the mattress is not as comfortable as the ones I tried I feel the value is not that great. Tempur-Pedic is a high priced mattress, which I expected to be comfortable from the start. Not sure I want to keep it beyond the trial period. At this point it's NOT a recommendation to buy.

This is the best bed we have owned in our 45 years of marriage. Love the adjustable features. We have some aches and pains and the availability to put the bed into comfortable positions is a big plus. Our sleep patterns seems to come more quickly instead of thrashing around before settling in for the night.

Greatest mattress ever. When we first got it we had some hesitations. Learned that you have to wait 5 to 6 seconds when you first lay down or roll over for the mattress to conform and support your entire body. We have not slept so well in years. No bed shake felt when either one gets up or down during the night. Love it !!!

Ok people, I'm 22 years old. I've slept in three beds in my entire life. Obviously started out in a crib, moved to a twin and slept on that same mattress until about 19. Moved in with my fiance and sleeping in a king mattress until May 11th 2020 when our Split King Pro-Adapt mattresses finally arrived! We both got to the point where we were having a lot of problems in our old mattress. He has sciatic nerve issues occasionally and is always tossing and turning. I am a very light sleeper and was barely sleeping the last 3 weeks before our new mattress was delivered. The nerves in my lower legs also seem to go crazy when I am laying down so any type of movement from my fiance makes it that much more stressful especially when he thinks he has to launch hmself in and out of bed in the middle of the night lol. It was miserable! We decided to get a firm split king because of our different needs though we both wanted a firm mattress and I had read previous reviews where some people no longer felt their partner move around so that really made me want a split king. We decided to pair it with the Ergo adjustable base (Separate review.. life changing) and it took over a month to get everything delivered but finally low and behold we are sleeping better! Love me a firm mattress! Our old one just felt too soft and I couldn't seem to find a position where my body truley felt relaxed. I barely feel him moving around and the nerves in my legs have calmed down so much I would assume due to now I sleep wih the bottom end of the mattress lifted (Thanks Ergo base)! I have been sleeping better though still having some issues on night where I just can't sleep. I am getting ready to buy some new pillows from here that I think will work with the mattress and base and completely fix all of my problems! If you get a firm, once you set it up, it will feel really hard but don't be alarmed! That will change when it warms up to the temp of the room. When we set it up and sat on it, we looked at each other like uhhhhhhh this is like laying on cement and we were hoping we didn't just make a giant mistake lol but nope it was perfect once it warmed up! Only thing that kind of sucks is that I read you shouldn't use heated blankets on the mattress. I have been using a heated blanket the passed 2 years since my feet can't ever get warm. They are always freezing cold at night and would cramp up in the middle of the night so I'm having a lot more cramping now but it's a small price to pay. I think I just need a better comforter. Overall, I love this mattress and am trying to convince my parents they should get one too! Was well worth the money! You spend a big portion of your life in bed. Might as well be comfy! All of my future bed products will now be purchased through Tempur-Pedic!

We purchased from Kathy at the Uptown location. She was one of the best sales persons I have ever dealt with. So kind and non-pressuring. She gave us plenty of time to explore all the mattresses and had answers to all our questions. We chose the king pro adapt medium hybrid and the smart adjustable base. I fell in love with it in the showroom, and I will say it took me about 2-3 weeks to adjust, but there was a night and morning where my husband woke and asked me, "Did you wake last night?" That was when we both realized we had been sleeping through the night for the past few days. WOW! What a different that makes in your everyday life. This mattress is absolutely amazing. So comfortable but supportive in just the right areas. I suffer from low back problems and can have restless legs from time to time. The zero G with slightly lower head works so well for my back and legs. So worth the price tag!!!

We would never have believed you could make a determination about the comfort of a mattress in a short 5-10 minute in-store trial. But the minute we laid down on Tempur-Pedics, we were sold! The only decision was whether or not to get the hybrid. We ultimately chose the Pro-Adapt hybrid because it provided a little more 'firmness.' As an older couple, we decided we could use the additional support to make getting into and out of the bed easier. So we chose the hybrid. We are 2 months into ownership, and couldn't be happier with our decision. We also got the Tempur-Pedic pillows and love them, too!

You can not go wrong with a Tempurpedic. They might be costly, but in the end your body will reward you. I had a knock off version and within a year there was not a day where I woke up with no back pain. Since I got my mattress I have been sleeping so well. I can only recommend it.

I am a younger, fit guy with no back or health problems. Had an older model Tempurpedic for over a decade. Quality was great, but it was always too soft for my liking. I went to the Tempurpedic flagship store and asked for the firmest mattress on offer. I was directed to the ProAdapt Firm, and ProAdapt Luxe Firm. The former is definitely more firm than the latter. I was told that the ProAdapt Firm that I purchased would need a period of being broken in before it would feel like the floor model that I sampled. The first couple of weeks after delivery, I was certain that I had made a mistake, as the mattress was just too firm, even for someone that likes a firm bed. However, after about 4-6 weeks of sleeping on it, it has broken in considerably and become the perfect mattress. 10/10. If you like a firm mattress, this is the one. Do not even consider returning if it feels too firm at first. Give it a month or so!

I had a 20+ year old mattress and really needed a new one because I was having problems with my back. I have been on the road to wellness and getting a new mattress was part of that process. The first 2 weeks of having the new mattress, my hips were stiff but now that it was been almost a month, I have adjusted! I sleep great and seriously, hard to get up in the morning because it is so comfortable. Pricey but in the long run, worth it!
