It was time to purchase a new mattress as our original TempurPedic was 10 years old. There was no question we were going to purchase another TempurPedic, so I visited the TempurPedic website and it took minutes to choose our new mattress. Top notch customer service. Our new mattress is absolutely perfect in every way. There was no "break in" period; we had an awesome night's sleep on the very first night. We are TempurPedic customers for life!

I did my homework and found out that the Tempur-ProAdapt was the replacement for our old mattress. My wife was a little hesitant at first but she went along with my choice. What a difference! It was like sleeping on the old mattress when it was new. It may feel really firm but it truly conforms to your body giving you the best sleep. I have extreme back issues but after sleeping on the new Temp-ProAdapt I felt like a new man again. Thanks Tempur-Pedic!

We have cycled through a number of mattresses, believing the hype, falling for the direct to consumer marketing, hoping beyond hope that the next mattress to arrive would be the one to solve all the aching sleepless nights. We finally broke down and ordered the Tempur-ProAdapt FIRM (the firm part is important!) after breaking through our weird thinking that a Tempur-Pedic mattress was out of reach for us. The mattress arrived and even the delivery team remarked on it's firm-ness. The first night of sleep was terrible for me because I was constantly waking up wondering if I was comfortable or not. The second night was a little better, the third night a little better...by the second week of sleeping on the mattress I honestly cannot imagine sleeping on anything else. We are combination sleepers - both side and back - and we are of average weights. The firm mattress supports our backs, doesn't make our arms fall asleep, and we stay asleep longer. In fact, I have been getting, on average, 1.5-2 more hours of sleep each night because I'm not driven from the bed by my discomfort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my back pain exacerbated 2years ago, I bought a tempur-proadapt firm for my guest bedroom first because I didn't want to give up my beloved mattress. Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.

This was a perfect fit for support, cooling, and relief from sciatica pain. The first night was the best sleep I have had in a very long time. After house sitting for my son and sleeping on his tempurpedic, just after day 4 my back felt so much better after years of hurting. I don't know how they do it, but somehow there's the perfect back support, but also it's super soft for my very arthritic shoulders and NO pain as a side sleeper. I'm 70 yrs old and I wish I could save people money by telling them to skip all the others and go with this one, wish someone had done that for me. Buy it, you won't be sorry and it's true when it comes to mattresses, you do get what you pay for.

Went on vacation for two weeks, pain came back. Got home back to my bed and it's gone. Not coincidental. Love this, wish I would have gotten it sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once a salesman said you will pay an enormous amount for a automobile that you will set in for a couple of hours a day but will cut cost and purchase an uncomfortable mattress that you will sleep on for 8-10 hours a day and wake with back issues. My first Tempur Pedic lasted 12 years. I chose to purchase a "In the box mattress" only to return and purchase the Pro-Adapt which we love dearly. Last time I settle for a lesser product. Now I wake each day fully refreshed.

We both like a firm mattress, and I especially need one because of lower back problems, but this was a new level of firm. Yet sleeping and watching TV on this mattress is as comfortable as I've been on a mattress. It's firm but not hard, if that makes sense.

Unfortunately, tempurpedic does not value customer loyalty or honor their own warranty as my recent warranty request was summarily dismissed without a call or any other outreach than a cold email denying my request to address a failed 6 year old deformed tempurpedic mattress. I choose to do business with firms that honor their warranties and will not be purchasing another product from this company.
