I told the sales person that I wanted a MEDIUM FIRM but the bed that arrived was MEDIUM ... turns out to be SOFTER than I wanted. Very nice bed but not what I waned. If there are no beds called MEDIUM FIRM then the salesman should have told me and I would have asked for a FIRM!!

We have been talking about purchasing a new mattress for a while now. We have three sons that own a Tempur-Pedic mattress and now we know why. The wife and I no longer wake up during the night having to change positions due to our shoulders or backs hurting. We also purchased the adjustable base. The zero gravity position is incredible and takes all the pressure off of our backs. We also love the vibration feature of the base. We have been sleeping on our new mattress for five weeks now and I have yet to still be awake when the vibrations feature ends. We would highly recommend this mattress and base to anyone. We have had our best sleep ever. The only problem this has created for us, is that we may now have to purchase one of these for our Motor Home!!!!!

I'm 57 years old and for 25 years I woke up with lower back pain, literately had to grab my knee to get out of bed every single morning. I accepted that it was just going to be that way the rest of my life. My wife talked me into this mattress and i hesitantly went for it. In retrospect, the best move I ever made. From an engineer & doctor couple... this is our 2nd Tempur-pedic and it just keeps getting better with age, no kidding. Our 1st, a queen bought in 2012, is going to one of the kids, because we upgraded to a king. The only problem with this brand is you get so spoiled that traveling becomes a chore knowing no hotel, cruise, or other family member's mattress will be as comfortable; unless of course its a Tempur-pedic. Find one on-sale and pull the trigger; you won't be disappointed. Also, don't be afraid to go for the firm level.

My husband bought this mattress and had it delivered to our house when I was not home. It replaced a Sleep Number model that we had had for almost 20 years which you hauled away. Gone-zo. This Tempur-ProAdapt Firm is so hard that I can no longer sleep with my husband. I now sleep in the guest bedroom on a mattress we bought about 40 years ago, topped with 4 inches of memory foam. Yes, it has obviously changed my life.

My back has ached for months and just recently I've replaced it with the ProAdapt. The memory foam provides such relief to my back and joints. It is so soft and cool to the touch. My room gets extremely hot and I feel like it's a very cooling mattress. The quality is outstanding and it feels extremely well made, definitely worth the price and feels like it will last for years and years. Will be buying for our other bedrooms in the house as well.
