I had the off-brand previously, and had MAJOR issues trying to get the glue out of the squeeze top. The elmer's is world's better in comparison. My 3 year old can use this for projects easily. Will be getting this again, and at the price is not a problem.

worst substitution ever tried to repair things around my house and was unable to with this glue I wish I had been given time to ask for something different they should have went with something stronger other than something weaker I'm a blind person so I didn't take the time to bother trying to find out what type of good I had I just knew they sent glue and I thought it was the right thing and I have to go back and redo a lot of work that I did and have nothing about you exchange with it no I'm pleased substitute for something stronger and better rather than weaker and less useful do not ask for kids leave I asked for a multi-purpose adhesive that was good for repairs around the home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this glue to use for crafts for kids. We are specifically gluing small rocks to wood. The sample I did worked out well. The glue held well and I love that it is clear. I found Walmart had a great deal on it so I stocked up a bit.

Maybe I got a bad bottle. I tried to repair numerous Christmas decorations made of ceramic, plastic, wood and other materials and it worked on NONE of them. This surprised me. So I tried to repair a construction-paper Christmas ornament my grown son made when he was small... just two sheets of heavy paper with his photograph inside. It couldn't even get the paper to stick together! The only thing good about it was the price.

Elmers Glue has been a staple in our house as long as I can remember. I use it regularly in crafting along with other glues. Elmers never fails: it's easy to use, washable, which is great when working with kids, and if you remember to twist and seal, it lasts and lasts.

Been using Elmers Glue since childhood, a trusted brand for sure for all sorts of crafts. I actually wanted to use this to add glue spots to the back of a little rug that was slipping, that wasn't a very good idea, it just soaked into the rug. So FYI. Don't use it for that.... LOL

I purchased Elmer's Clear School Glue, and it’s my favorite glue for making slime. All I added was Great Value baking soda and Equate Moisture Last Multi-Purpose Solution (which contains boric acid), and the results were amazing. The slime turned out smooth and stretchy every time. It’s a great choice for anyone who loves making slime!

i use Elmer's glue for many things. it can glue together broken ceramic pottery and dishes if it's left to fry ling enough. applying more coatings can also ensure that glued broken dushes can be reused. If not as dishes they could hold potted plants.

Don’t tell anyone because they will raise the price when word gets out and people start using the white formula that worked great in the 70s early 80s

Elmer’s School Glue goes on liquid white and dries clear. So many uses and possibilities for school art projects, glueing puzzles, etc... Mostly meant for paper. Washes off hands, arms, faces, hair, furniture and clothing. If glue has dried, it peels off most non-paper surfaces. For fabrics use hot water to rewet glue then clean per fabric care instruction. Non-toxic. While not recommended, if your kid drinks it, its not the end of the world.
