Still working on it

I bought this for my church....It took 5 men......... 13 hours to put this together and the worst part there were no instructions....after all was said and done my pastor downloaded the instructions to his phone and there were 96 pages of instructions. You should tell the person who buys this item there are no instructions....

We bought this for our two children and after reading up on different review we decided on this one. All the parts were there, the instructions were easy to read, and it came just when they said it would on a single massive pallet. It took us a total 3 days to get it together but that was with our normal morning preschool running around and early bed times. It was fun! No fighting or throwing tools, just make sure you read the instructions and do it exactly as it tells you to. There is a reason behind the sequence given in the instructions. It looks great, its solid... the only problem is... my 2 year old also has a problem getting onto the upper deck do to the gap because he's not quite there yet with gripping the outer rail instead of the rungs. We fixed this with some plastic mesh and zip ties but he'll grow into it. I can see my children using this product for a very long time and it was worth the price and the work setting it up. It is way more sturdy than the wooden set we sold with our last house.

We have owned out adventure tower playset for over a year now and all of our swings and bolts are rusted. It looks like our set has been sitting outside for 20 years already. If I could go back I wouldn't waste my money. It seems like a nice sturdy set at first, especially for the price we paid. Turns out you just pay for the brand.

We almost bought the Climb and Slide Playset but decided on the Lifetime Adventure Tower instead because it has more activities. We bought this just in time to assemble it before the cool weather arrived. My wife and I worked together as a team for about six evenings. Our son-in-law helped put the roof on. Halfway through the process we had the part numbers memorized. The instructions were clear and precise. I was pleasantly surprised to see a separate package of spare parts. Yes indeed! The grandkids love it, therefore, so do we! Note: We added the baby swing that's on the end. It does not come with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in May of 2016 for my growing and very active son. It has been a great source for play, imagination, fun with friends, and hours in the tower. I loved that it wasn't wood and it would withstand the elements without worrying about decay and someone getting hurt. I got a supplemental third swing and attached it where the rings are and it works great when we have multiple kids playing. Totally worth the money and the time to put it together. It is definitely a task to put together but with some organization and a few strong people it's doable.

I was hoping this playset would last at least a few years until our son grew out of it. Unfortunately, a good portion of the set is rusted after less than 2 years. With the design, things such as the ladder have only a thin piece of metal connecting them to the set. That area rusted, and the ladder fell completely off. Initially, I wasn't concerned because there's a warranty on the set. However, it has been over 4 months with parts being out of stock, etc. to fulfill the warranty request we made. The tower portion of the set is unusable at this point because there is no ladder, and several of the areas to climb up are rusted and falling apart. I'd expect the construction, coating, etc. on these parts to be much better, but apparently they aren't made for climates like Florida's.

I bought this tower approximately a month ago, and have not quite finished the assembly. Before I even got it all together, the roof panels which I installed have torn out at the assembly points. I now have a tower with multiple panels that are not usable. I am more than a little upset that these panels disintegrate at the holes where they bolt together. The rest of the playset seems like a quality product, but there are no places to anchor this system to the ground - and in Colorado, I find that worrisome as well. I would appreciate contact from customer service for the Lifetime company! I do not currently recommend this product, but may if I can get the necessary pieces to fix this replaced.

After a year of owning this playset, it started to rust. A year and a half into owning the playset, the steps rusted off. I called Lifetime and they wanted to send individual pieces for replacement with me paying for shipping. Every metal piece needed to be replaced. We decided to decline their piece mill offer and tear down the playset. We will NEVER purchase another playset or product from ‘Lifetime'.

The Sam's Club Adventure Tower is not the same model you get when you purchase one from other retail outlets. The Sam's Club version has a flimsy roof which is made from lighter, thinner material. Also, the long metal poles must be manually spliced together on the Sam's Club model whereas they come in one continuous piece on a non-Sam's Club model.
