Evidently these were made for extremely light loads, 2 lbs. or less. We have had problems with the handles breaking and the bags splitting with only 2 or 3 items in them. Very disappointed in the quality. Won't be buying them again. I rated the Value low because of the poor Quality. If the bags were better quality it would be a terrific value. In fact, I would be willing to pay more if they would make a stronger bag. I love Sam's, but this was just not a good item for my purposes.

Very thin material.

We use these for garbage bags. We love that they're small enough to take out every night after dinner, and they don't leak. That's the main reason for buying these, instead of using used bags we get from the grocery store. We use those to line bathroom trash cans, but these are good for anything. One of these boxes lasts us about 3 years, so although the price has recently gone up about 1/3, they're still very affordable — especially when compared to purchasing regular sized kitchen bags.

I go through a lot of these bags in a week's time. Over the years, I have had problems finding a bag that can hold up to the abuse we put them through. I have been through three different brands and none of them have held up as well as these bags. I will definitely keep purchasing them in the future.

Past few years they have been poor quality. They tear way too easily forcing me to use 2 bags instead of one — so there goes the savings!! Sam’s club please raise issue with thickness change in bags with Manufacturer! Not at all what they used to hold in weight! Now it holds only half the weight or they tear easily

We use these weekly for a food pantry ministry. They hold cans and frozen chicken very well!
