The entire set is very good looking. Just had it assembled by a friend, and he thought it was well made. He is a pro and had no problems with assembly. The chairs are larger than anticipated. The only thing surprising is that the wood color is much more red than I wanted. It looks more mahogany than brown or walnut. The picture made it look much more like lighter walnut. As the set is used, I may update my review.

Overall this is a nice dining set for a decent price. Been looking for a while and everything else seemed too expensive or product made too cheaply. This table and chairs seem to be pretty sturdy and looks good to me. While I love the table design, especially with the hidden leaf,the legs make it hard to have more than 4 chairs around it - at least pushed in, so we’re keeping it at the small size unless we need the 6 chairs. Putting together took about an hour. Shipping was a little odd, we got the notification and tried to schedule a date, but they just delivered it whenever. They dumped boxes on our sidewalk and didn’t even ring the doorbell.

The material is good, but the workmanship of this table is awful. The leaf won't close on one side so I can even put my finger in....

I am so in love with this set especially the self storing leaf that expands the table from 4 to 6 seats so convenient to host for family and friends.

i just love the dining room set. i didn't like putting it together so i had to get my grandson to do that part. i just wish the chair covers were not white. That will be okay.
