Like so many others have said, these are not the same as in the past. They taste just fine, but if you're looking for a soft easy melting candy be warned, these are not like that anymore regardless of what the package says.

This is a repeat order for me usually.. my 98 year old dad eats them constantly.. this order I received this week is hard and has a strange taste… not safe for my dad.. too hard of a texture! Will not reorder

I’ve purchased these many times in the past and loved them. Unfortunately, these were not soft nor did the melt in my mouth. Will not be purchasing again.

Not sure what has changed with these, but they are no longer the same. I've bought these for years since my dad loves them. They used to melt completely in your mouth. The last tub I bought leaves a hard, tasteless center after the outside melts away. It's not even peppermint flavored and it's not pleasant. Ruins the candy. I'm hoping to return the tub since we only tried a few to see if they were all the same. Very disappointed to have this longtime favorite ruined.

They are delicious. Love the flavor and the fact that they are soft. Had cancer surgery and lost a portion of my tongue and several teeth, so can't chew anything hard. these are perfect. I like to have them on hand. Not only have a sweet tooth, but peppermint settles an upset tummy.

We have been eating Bob's peppermint candy for many years. My dad was a grocer and he sold them in his store. The soft peppermint - the sticks and balls - is my favorite. My only question is why the price has more than doubled? I bought two tubs of these at Walmart during the holidays for $5.00 each. Now it is $11.29? Hmmmm?

I'm addicted to soft peppermint balls and am rarely found without a couple in my pocket. I have tried many, many types and have found that Bobs are by far my favorites. They are perfected for quickly chewing them up for a breath freshener as you walk into a meeting or to let them melt away on your tongue as you are thinking something over. I buy the large container and have a supply at home, in my office and in my classroom. I will remain a repeat buyer.

I have bought these in the past and they were "soft". However, recently the candy is more like a hard round candy cane. Why the inconsistency? The package still states "Soft" and the expiration date a year in the future. I returned them and hope the manufacture gets the recipe right with future batches.

These are good but actually the Great Value brand is much softer and CHEAPER! I would RECCOMEND these but I would first recommend Great Value if you want the softer of the two. For myself I don't mind the harder little piece in the middle of Bobs because they will last longer in your mouth. I suppose it's a matter of what you prefer. I do like the GV container better than Bobs. Sorry Bob.

I purchased these 3 days ago. Opened them today to take some to work. They were absolutely awful! NOT soft at all. The texture is shiny and not melt in your mouth, crunchy and chewy. I thought maybe it was a few. Tried again when I came home. DISGUSTING and I am disappointed. I don’t want them and don’t want to donate them. They are definitely NOT the quality as in the past. I purchased them for work less than two months ago.
