Satisfied Customer

I have well over 220,000 miles on my truck now and this is my third set of Firestone Destination AT2 tires. I like them mostly for quiet ride yet have traction for rain ice or snow. Most of my miles are highway miles but I do get off-road every now and then in farm fields and the boat ramp too. I get around 20 mph fully loaded with these tires on vacation trips. I usually get around 60,000 miles on tread wear before I replace and do not run them smooth. All in all I'm very satisfied with their quiet ride and performance for what I do.

Destination At/2 tires

This is my third set of Destination tires I have put on my Ford F150. They are smooth and quiet riding. They have great traction in rain snow or off the road. Each set has lasted five years before replacement excellent tires would highly recommend these for any truck.

Second set of Destination A/T tires

Replaced a set of Goodyear Wrangler Adventure All Terrains that were completely worn out with only 26K miles on them (will never buy Goodyears, thankfully they were given to me as I would hate to waste my money on such a poorly made product) I had the "first generation" of Destination A/T tires on the same Tacoma a few years ago and they were AWESOME! They were rated for a 50K mile warranty and I put 73K miles on them with zero issues. I merely set the tire pressure to Toyota's recommended setting, rotated them every 10K miles, made sure to torque the lug nuts by hand to Toyota's spec, kept the vehicle properly aligned, and drove like I had some common sense. When they came out with the Destination A/T2 I knew I would more than likely buy them and while I haven't had them that long, so far so good. Hopefully they will give me as good service. The old 'Yota has 327,000 miles on it and these tires make it ride well. Great tires!!! Thanks Firestone!

6th Set of these fantastic tires

At my request, the dealer installed Destination AT/2 tires prior to my taking delivery of of the 2023 Ram I ordered. I prefer a quality tire over the cheap tires that come as OEM on expensive vehicles. Most of the time I do not need to use 4 wheel drive in up to 4-6 inches of snow. In dry weather these tire provide excellent traction and handling and a quiet ride. In rain the AT/2's provide excellent traction and in the snow they provide confidence. This is the 5th set of these tires we have purchased and will not buy anything else based upon our satisfaction with this tire.

My Forever AT Tire Now!!

Ive had these 275/60R20 Firestone Destination A/T2's for a couple weeks now. Have had heavy rain and tonight visiting family and they wanted to do some night off road. Man these things are FANTASTIC. QUIET, smooth, gained a couple mph on the 2hr trip. Great rain performance and much better than my prior 33x12.5 more expensive and aggressive tires from another brand. Tonight these things performed admirably off road with just a little more sink into very soft deep sand and some mud. They are noticeably narrower so I expected this. Even did a couple steep grades to upper trails and had zero slippage. Even stopping to get out on one grade to scout over the crest, it just picked right up and had no issue continuing. I'm impressed and have confidence in longevity because all of the soles are full tread depth unlike the prior tires. I will replace with these again if I have the truck long enough. If you want an AT tire that is SUPER road friendly but still totally capable for some fun off road, no questions I recommend these.

Second set

First set was so impressive I wouldn't even consider anything else. Got more miles than rated for with legal tread still on. I used four wheel drive a whole lot less often with this tire. I work Constrution so I had too many repair plugs for my liking to pull trailers so it was just time to replace. Super Happy!

Destination AT/2 Replacing Destination AT

Just replaced the original Destination AT tires that lasted over 62,000 miles. I was hesitant on the AT/2 but thus far I am very happy with the ride and performance of these tires. Nice quiet ride as well. Not the cheapest tire on the market but you get what you pay for and so far these tires have met and exceeded my expectations.

Finally found a good tire

I drive 60,000KMs a year and have went through various A/T all-weather tires in the past. Driving in Saskatchewan, primarily on gravel roads (winter conditions for about 6 months of the year) I need a good all round, reliable tire. Very happy with the traction and most impressed with the road noise being so much quieter than other brands with comparable traction.

Is the newer model worth it? Seems promising

In all fairness, this review is based off of the performance of the Destination AT. When I got my Jeep back in 2021, it already had the Destination AT tires on it & I've was very happy w/ how they performed in regards to ride, handling, & stopping power in wet conditions. They rode smooth, the noise level wasn't terrible but I've never really cared much about that-you're going to have noise while driving after all. Handling & grip was good, they never felt like they were trying to come out from under me during a turn. The stopping power during wet conditions I especially liked, mainly during winter. That's why when I was told I needed new tires I decided to stay w/ the same style as what I had & was informed that they were now Destination AT2. I just had them installed yesterday, 11-17-23 so I haven't gotten much drive time in on them yet but what time I did get in, I wasn't disappointed. Rode nice & smooth, felt a little firmer too but that could've also been the adjustments the dealer made to my alignment's X/Y axis. As much as I hate to say this, I'm looking forward to winter to see if the newer model meets &/or exceeds its predecessor. I feel like it will

Never before

I have never had a set of tires like these! I had 70K miles on them and had it not been for winter right around the corner, I know they would have made it another 5K +! My Jeep came from the factory with these tires, so why look for better? I don't think it exists!
